I assume it is the no punt return kick return yada yada yada.
If it hit a Georgia player we are in the wrong game.An official cannot guess who an intended receiver could be until the ball lands.According to Saban, Alabama "did" have a receiver, Jase McClellan, in the vicinity on the "safety" call. "If" he's right, then the incomplete pass call is correct.I don't think that guy was in the vicinity of where the ball was aimed. If aimed is the word I am after. But reasonable minds may differ. As may you.
Here, "maybe" is a photo that proves him right. It shows a partial view of an Alabama player behind a Texas player No. 13. I don't know who it is, and really it doesn't matter. any Bama player would do. The real referee video replay should have been for intentional grounding. Too bad there is no replay allowed for that unless it's called. It wasn't. Then the play would have been put to bed like it should have. But looking at the photo and to extrapolating from the video of Young's throw it was heading in that Bama player's direction. Thoughts?

Now I wish I had an overhead video. LOL
And if a defender deflects it there can be no penalty for grounding.
Actually, it hit the Georgia guy right square in the front of his helmet. But as much as it makes my gorge rise, essentially, you're right.
Egads, that's going to leave a bad taste for months.

Looking like Cinci may not have resolved that O Line issue that sunk them in the Super Bowl. Burrows may need a hole to hide in. You do not take that many hits year upon year without negative consequences to your QB. Relatedly, i do not buy Pitts as a legit contender, especially if Harris misses time, but that defense was win them some games.
They had Steelers at 9-1 to win the North after finishing a half game back with the weak armed Ben.
I chuckled - then laid out some cash.
