Just walked psst my tv...on screen was:

"GA.
Mayor heckled for llying about Sanctuary City."

"Politicians  using loopholes to protect migrants"

Dr Charles Stanley had his Church, In Touch Ministries, in Atlanta, Georgia. He passed on, but he was a great preacher.

I am sure there are a lot of good Christian people in Georgia, and I am sure it is a good place for the refugees. The weather is good in Georgia too. And Georgia is cheaper than many other states. And the refugees can pick peaches in Georgia, etc.

The whole United States is a sanctuary nation, send us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breath free. And Georgia seems safer than Chicago, New York, Detroit, Saint Louis, etc.

The refugees need to do their homework before they come to the United States, and they need to find out where the jobs are, and they need to find out which areas are the safest.

We also have the United Farm Workers union, etc, to help the refugees to be able to earn a living and to be safe.

We need to make our immigrants legal like Reagan did so that they can be protected by our laws, we need to bring them out of the shadows so they can call the police in the case of an emergency, and so they can join labor unions, and so they can be protected by our laws.

And Mexico is going to be nice, lots of money is being invested in Mexico, and the Mexicans are extremely hard workers, Mexico will be paradise in 20 years, they are building new high speed trains, and new resorts, and new airports, and they are investing in their ports, etc, Mexico is going to be nice in 20 years.

All my home windows are covered by shutters or curtains, in daylight no one can see inside.
At night no one can see inside.

Would fucking lose my mind.  Sounds claustrophobic, with the added grimness of turning one's house into a funeral parlor.  Also, on what planet is the refractive index of glass such that pedestrians can see into the interior of a house during daylight??

At night, I don't care if someone passes the kitchen and sees me making dinner.  What do you think happens?  Dear God, that man is rinsing a saucepan!  Oh sweet Jesus now he's refilling a kettle!  The depravity!

And then I'm in the living room and all those voyeurs are rapt as I quietly turn the pages of a paperback or converse with my sigboth.  The violation!

Not voyeurs, think violent home invaders...and non-violent home invading robbers, until cornered then they become violent.

In daylight, the 'crim-safe' black metal gauze 'flyscreens' allow the [internal]shutters to be open to allow viewing of outside and light to enter. All anyone outside sees is black.
Sheer curtains in daylight, heavy curtains after dark.

You never know who's watching, waiting, planning to do evil.

Serial killer BTK came calling in daylight hours.
Very personable, a pastor. Sweet talked his way to torture and murder...worst depravity some had every 'seen'.
One lady was home alone, playing the piano...sadly she became a victim.

'Always wear a gun ready to fire at a moment's notice'.
'Never open the door to strangers'.
"Never go outside to disturbances, a pilot did that, was bashed and never flew again.'
'Never get out of the car', in road rages.

"Never go running alone, especially if you're a woman, young or older...bad people are lurking, another woman in bambuworld has gone missing, 50+, went running alone one Sunday morning at 7am recently, in a forest.

It's all good advice.

When I lived in Malibu we lived in a gated community, one had to go through two security gates to get to our house, and there were cameras at the gates, plus we had spot lights with motion detectors on the property, and we had 2 big dogs, etc. Plus, Malibu is safe with very low crime. And we had the Daughter of a Chinese General living with us, that is how safe it was.

Some places are safe. Malibu is safe. Rome, Italy, is safe. I bet Greece is safe. And I bet Australia is very safe. Cannes, France, is safe. Monte Carlo is safe. Some places are safe.

We did not even bother to lock the doors of our home in Malibu. The owner lived there for 20 years and she never locked the doors.

But in Saint Louis, Missouri, you need a gun, you need to lock your doors, etc, some places are bad. I choose not to live in the bad areas. I would never live in Detroit, or Chicago, or New York, nor in Compton, Watts, Inglewood, etc, there are some places I would never live.

Battle Mountain, Nevada, is safe, but they all own guns, they are all cowboys with guns in Nevada. The cowboys keep Nevada safe.

Anaheim is nice, I have lived here for over 20 years and I have never had a problem here in Anaheim. It is not as nice as Malibu, but it is better than Compton.

The Antelope Valley was nice back when we were building the Space Shuttles, etc, it was nice like Palm Springs, but then it turned into a ghetto as the people on welfare from Los Angeles all moved to the Antelope Valley. I would not live in the Antelope Valley now, I would rather live in Anaheim, but my Mother loves the Antelope Valley and she will spend the rest of her life there, and her husband owns a gun, plus they have a home alarm system and cameras, etc.

Anyhow, it is best to try to live in a safe area where one does not need to be afraid and on guard all of the time. If you can have nice Christian neighbors, and live in a good neighborhood, then that is preferable to living in fear. I would never live in a high crime area.

Though if one becomes rich and famous like Steven Spielberg then one needs body guards, and all of that, you need security if you become rich and famous. And they have 24 hour security at the Empire West Condominiums, etc, the stars all have security guards. And Latigo Beach in Malibu has 24 hour security, etc.

Ted Turner got rich from a television channel that he inherited, he made the channel successful and became very wealthy. Then he branched out into buffalo ranching, etc.

I think that Universal should buy Playboy and bring back the Playboy Channel, and they can make the Slocum Westerns, etc, and Beach Blanket Bingo movies, and Fun in Acapulco movies, etc. I think the Playboy Channel could be successful. And they can hire young geniuses from National Lampoon at Harvard to write for Playboy Magazine to save the Magazine.

54% of the modern services economy is streaming services including movies and television shows, and the Playboy Channel could succeed in the modern business climate.

People can make a lot of money from a television channel, and the Playboy Channel would be successful right now, Universal should buy Playboy and bring back the Playboy Channel.

I just read that the highest paid ethnic group in the USA are the people from India who earn $110,000 on average. The White people averaged $55,000 on average. The Black people are way down at $35,000 on average.

And in other news, Kentucky is going to give all of the teachers a raise in pay.

A personal observation pertaining the Black people, is that the economy is improving in Black areas, including in Atlanta, and in Compton and in Inglewood, etc, thanks to Entertainment, and Sports, etc, and lots of investments.

The great equalizer is education.

Meander Where You May / Re: Meander Where You May

Over by Lafayette Park in Los Angeles there are a lot of new immigrants from El Salvador, and there was a Salvadoran restaurant there that I went to one day when I was poor and living in my pick-up truck, I asked them if I could wash dishes or something in exchange for a meal, and the lady told me to sit down at a table and she started bringing me food. As they were feeding me multiple plates of wonderful food then the people there were showing me pictures of El Salvador and they were telling me about El Salvador. The people were really cool, and the food was great. And that is where I see the American Dream the most is with the new immigrants who bring their dreams to America.

Occidental Studios is also in that area, and they have a great Catholic Church there that feeds the homeless. Disney was using the studio at Occidental the last time I was there. That is a good neighborhood with affordable apartments, you just have to be cool with the issue of living with the immigrants from El Salvador, and from other places, the whole area is full of immigrants. And it is also close to USC. That is a good neighborhood for aspiring actors and writers, and aspiring flmmakers, etc, in my opinion. The apartments there by Occidental and Beverly Blvd are all nice and safe, and cheap, and on Hoover, those apartments are all safe and cheap.

Richard Nixon did the right thing when he opened up trade with China, there are difficulties, but opening up trade with China was the right decision, and we are reaping the rewards now on the issue of Russia, we have China on our side because of Nixon.

https://billofrightsinstitute.org/essays/richard-nixon-opens-diplomatic-relations-with-china

And we have Muzi.

Bambu, Reagan was a good Republican, study about Reagan. Reagan loved the Mexicans, and Reagan made our immigrants legal so that they could call the police in the case of an emergency, and so they could join labor unions, he made our immigrants legal and he brought them out of the shadows so that they could be protected by our laws.

And George W. Bush is a good Republican, and Jeb Bush is a good Republican, and Condoleezza Rice is a good Republican.

Trump is a bad man, he tried to get Georgia to change their vote count, they have Trump recorded trying to get them to change the vote count. And we do not need a wall, we love Mexico, and we want to do trade with Mexico, Mexico is California's number one trade partner. And money is being invested in high speed trains in Mexico, and in new resorts, and new airports, and they are investing in their ports, etc. The Mexicans are very hard workers and they are investing a lot of money into bringing Mexico into a wealthy new future. Plus Mexico has Gold, and Oil, etc, they have a lot of natural resources in Mexico.

And Pope Francis is a good man.

Kiwanis International is global, and is there to help the children. And there is a Kiwanis Village in Victoria, Canada, for the refugees.

Disney is going to buy a couple of streets from the City of Anaheim for forty million dollars. Anaheim is a rich city. Plus the Citizens of Anaheim own the Electric Company and we sell electricity to Disneyland, and we own the Parking for Disneyland, and we own Angel Stadium, and we own the Honda Center, etc. Walt Disney and Gene Autry wanted to make sure that Anaheim was wealthy and that the Citizens of Anaheim are well taken care of. We have a lot of blessings here in Anaheim thanks to Walt and Gene.

Bambu, I saw on the television news that there was a naked lady at Venice Beach with a board with a nail in it attacking another woman, it reminded me of what you said about a board with a nail in it as a weapon. Venice Beach is full of homeless and mentally ill people right now, which is hard for them because a lot of people there depend on the Tourism for their incomes, if there are mentally ill homeless people all over then it scares away the tourists. Venice, California, needs to be more like Rome, Italy, and they need cheap hostels, and sober living homes, to get the homeless off of the street and into beds. I hope they helped the naked lady, poor lady, she needs help.

The greatest gift that you can give to a poor young man is the ability to work and to earn an honest living so that they can be independent and self sustaining.

Homeboy Industries is a great program that gives purpose to young former gang members and it is a program that teaches the young people how to be independent and self sustaining.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeboy_Industries

Homeboy Industries can also be connected with Habitat for Humanity and they can teach the former gang members how to build houses, and they can go to work as apprentices with the unions, etc.

Homeboy Industries can also help to complete the building of the Graffiti Towers in Los Angeles, so we can use the towers as housing for our Homeless Veterans and for our Homeless Senior Citizens, and Kiwanis International can help as well.

And we need to teach the prisoners how to do honest jobs so that they can be independent and self sustaining when they get out of prison, they can learn how to groom dogs, and how to install sound systems in cars, and they can learn the construction trades, and welding, and they can learn cooking, etc, so they can work an honest job and be self sustaining and independent.

A lot of these people are just poor and ignorant and desperate, if you teach them an honest profession then they can make honest money so that they do not need to be poor and desperate. And they can study and learn so that they can become wiser. Homeboy Industries is great, and they help a lot of people.

High-end Mexican department store Liverpool made its interest in Nordstrom known last month when it became its second-largest stakeholder after the Nordstrom family. It acquired a 9.9% passive stake in Nordstrom for about 5.9 billion pesos ($293.8 million). Oct 12, 2022

========

Maybe the Mexicans can help to bring back The Broadway Department Stores, and maybe they can help to save Macy's, while working together as a team with the Italians, and the French, and with New Yorkers, etc, and with the Californians, etc.

The empty shops/buildings around Union Sq San Francisco could be sold off for housing.
Online shopping has killed some dept stores, and street store shopping in many places...seems to me.

Businesses will replace the businesses that are gone. And we need to bring back the malls in areas such as San Bernardino.

Star Wars is going to be made here in California, and that will help the local economy, and more jobs will be created.

And we can save San Francisco with cheap hostels where people can shower and sleep for $15 per night, and cheap Sober Living Homes for $450 per month, etc. And San Francisco needs to attract new Businesses, and they need to attract new investors, etc. And the Chinese can help to save San Francisco, and the Italians can help. And San Francisco needs Mental Health Associations like the one in Santa Ana, and Wellness Centers like the one in Orange.

Groups such as Homeboy Industries can also help to save San Francisco and Oakland and San Bernardino, etc.

And for housing then Habitat For Humanity can help and others. And in Los Angeles we need to complete the Graffiti Towers that the Chinese own, with the help of Muzi, we need to finish the towers to become housing for our homeless Veterans, and for our homeless Senior Citizens.

I read that Sylvester Stallone is moving to Florida, and I reminded him that Florida has Universal Studios in Orlando, and Sly can make movies in Orlando, along with Oliver Stone, and others. Movies and television shows can be made at Universal in Orlando, and Cocoa Beach is great.

Meanwhile Star Wars is going to made here in California, and I hope many new people get a break here in Hollywood. And we have lots of stars from Social Media who can work at Universal here in California, etc. And it would be great if Universal could buy Playboy and bring back the Playboy Channel, they can film the shows for the Playboy Channel right there at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and Universal can hire brilliant young writers from National Lampoon at Harvard to save Playboy, and they can film the Slocum Westerns for the Playboy Channel, etc.

And guys who hate Hollywood like Jim Carrey can go work in Atlanta, and Will Smith can go work in Atlanta, etc.

As the jobs come back to Hollywood, then I hope that we create jobs for all new people, and not the people who turned a blind eye while we had 70,000 homeless people on the streets of Los Angeles, guys like Jim Carrey and Will Smith can go live in Atlanta. We need for good people like Don Johnson, and Dick Van Dyke, and Morgan Fairchild, and Jeff Bridges, to be at the top, they all worked to help the homeless in Los Angeles.

We need for all new people to get the new jobs in Hollywood as the jobs come back to Hollywood.

And I would love to have a Bungalow Office at Universal Studios, and to have a wife as a team-mate to write and produce movies television shows with, and maybe own Universal someday. We will see what happens.

Anyhow, lots of new stars are rising on Facebook and on Social Media, such as Marli Buccola, and Mahlagha Jaberi, and many others, who can be the stars of the future.

And we need all new television shows, instead of the television channels all showing "Friends" re-runs, and "Two and a Half Men" re-runs... We need all new television shows and all new stars.

We need for all new people to rise in Hollywood, and we need good altruistic stars to rise to the top who care about the Homeless in Los Angeles, and who care about Hollywood, and who care about the young people who are sacrificing everything to come to Hollywood to work at the studios.

It is great that Star Wars is going to be filmed in California, and hopefully many new jobs are created in California.

As we install more rooftop generation for electrical heating systems, the demand for and price of natural gas will both drop. We are looking to export more municipal and industrial scale batteries as well as employ more at home. We are off to a good start, but it will take more than four years to fully update our power grid and minimize our dependence on fossil fuels.

What we unquestionably need four more years of is President Biden, the best chief executive of your lifetime.

In Anaheim they give us free Natural Gas for heating at my apartment complex, we receive free heating.

Biden is doing a great job, and so is Karen Bass.

Plus, the new Star Wars movie is going to be made here in California, lots of good things are happening, and we are getting our high speed train to Vegas, etc, lots of good things are happening.

Here is some good news, the new Star Wars movie is going to be made locally here in California. That is awesome. George Lucas was born in Modesto, and I am sure he is happy that Disney is creating local jobs in California. And this will inspire more filmmakers to film locally in California, and the whole economy will benefit.

And having won better working conditions and better pay with the Strikes, then the Union workers are all being treated better.

Malibu, Beverly Hills, Orange County, Burbank, Hollywood, etc, the economy is going to get better as more films are made locally.

And hopefully Universal is able to create more jobs as well. And the other studios.
