A Trump baby blimp on US soil is like waving a red rag at a bull.
Bulls in America are armed. Wouldn't surprise me if some bulls used baby blimp for target practice.
Longe-range rifles come with silencers?

Bad if people start shooting at baby blimp, the lead has to come back to earth somewhere...people have died from 'stray bullets' in the past.

Cops/Agencies should ban baby blimps in America..."unsafe airspace", "inciting riots", "national security", "disturbing the peace".

Whatever happened to just throwing shoes at statues?

Activists run the risk of "never working in this town again"...when the people they upset strike back.

Fucking snowflakes.

Go around antagonising people, one can hardly be surprised if they get annoyed and seek revenge.

So now...defending [small or not] US allies is not popular in Trump-Washington?
Honouring Alliances is now not popular in Trump-Washington…ANZUS for example?

You are going to get no support from trump. It you get twitchy about it, you likely will induce China to act. Trump is as belly-up for China as he is for Russia (yak dung cigarettes again). He’ll do nothing to stop them. What other allies do you have that will stand up to China?

Your best hope is to be a sitting duck and hope that you fall far enough down the list of priorities of the new world powers that you are overlooked and thus avoid large scale direct interventions.

Hope that trump and the republicans are quickly and decisively obliterated. You may get your old friend back that way.

Seems to be.

MH-17 was shot down 14 July 2014;

Airlines, including Qantas, quit flying over Ukraine airspace months ago

FLIGHT MH17 was in airspace that many airlines, including Qantas, have avoided for months. Why didn’t Malaysia Airlines follow?

MALAYSIA Airlines flight MH17, which was shot down over rebel-held eastern Ukraine, was flying through airspace that a number of other Asian carriers abandoned months ago due to security concerns.

South Korea’s two main airlines, Korean Air and Asiana, as well as Australia’s Qantas, said they rerouted flights as early as the beginning of March, when Russian troops moved into Crimea.

Another 4-year old article? Very good

Much drama the other day on the fourth anniversary.

Was Ukraine responsible for not closing the air space?

Maybe.

Were some airlines responsible for still flying that route when other airlines had stopped doing so some time before?

Should passengers have been more aware of the risks and avoided that route?

If I were a billionaire...I'd fly over and host y'all for the mother of all party months.
Every forumite and families would be invited.
Y'all would be staying in the best hotels if you wished.
The party could be at one place or at several of the best resorts.

Best food, best service, best drinks...no expense spared.

The conversations would be interesting! Cheesy

I went to a party with the forumites from an acting website, and it was fun. We all met at a pub in Hollywood.

I also went to several parties that were thrown by a Hollywood talent agent, he invited me over the web, and I had a great time at his parties.

I would go to your party Bambu.

My party would be fun too...with a few disagreements thrown in, most likely.
'Political' parties could well be different from acting parties. Wink

In the Middle East forum in the old NYT forums, a poster told me when the [Hamas I think] guy in the wheelchair was turned into swiss cheese;

"Dead terrorists do not kill anyone"

More like...one day bambu is hoping his land will have nuke-powered and nuke armed subs cruising the world's oceans ready to turn any enemies into ash.

Now he's found a like-minded expert...

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-29/australia-should-prepare-for-north-korean-attack/8998902

Australia should prepare for North Korean attack, former Pentagon missile boss warns

Australia must develop greater missile defences to ward off a strike from North Korea, a former high-ranking Pentagon official said.

Key points:
•Australia could be struck by a North Korean weapon, Dr Roberts warns
•He says separating US allies from the US and from each other is central to Mr Kim's strategy
Australia must ensure warships are equipped with advanced defences, Dr Roberts says

Dr Roberts, who led the Obama administration's Nuclear Posture Review and Ballistic Missile Defence Review, does not believe Australia needs to adopt an American-style expensive land-based missile shield, but said it must ensure warships are equipped with advanced defences.

"I don't think it's a large number of very expensive interceptors and radars deployed around the periphery of the Australian continent," he said.
"A sea-based capability on the advanced destroyer that would include a sea-based radar and some interceptors: that could operate in coalition partnership with other allies."

#####

Nothing less than nuke-powered, nuke-armed subs are required.

Mr Kim must be made understand that if he fires a missile at Australia, he'll be toast.
Popguns just can't do the job.

No degree from Harvard needed for this one either.

I really wish that Putin gave Trump two balls, it would have photographically driven home the point to all who might have missed that p-c.

Trump was pathetically weak and just an embarassment.

It was disgraceful.

He's just trying to be nice...talk with the other sides...Russia in this case.
No point meeting with Putin and firing abuse at him.

Crackers who vote for shitheads that enact policies of terror and oppression against the constitution are the worst enemies of immigrants all the time.

You get a half pass because your vote doesn’t count for much in New Jersey.

Red has earned a hot poker up his ass for most of his afterlife.

Bambu is cursed with being Bambu.

bambu is cursed with the island where he lives being taken over by Left/Far Left no-ideas.

Now they've hired Danny Glover to tell me/us all about Indigenous affairs/citizenship etc.

On-the-run British terrorist Samantha Lewthwaite known as The White Widow 'is recruiting suicide bombers to attack Spanish beaches this summer'

The world's most wanted female terrorist is recruiting suicide bombers to target holidaymakers this summer.
Samantha Lewthwaite, 34, was dubbed 'The White Widow' after her extremist husband killed himself and 26 others in the 2005 London suicide bombings.

More Muslim suicide bombers?
Pity madam widow wouldn't blow herself up so she could join her husband and his 72 virgins in paradise.

Are bulls still being tortured to death in Spain?
