Biden's remark was a "spirit of the law, " not "letter of the law" take on the ACB push.

Silver lining of a more Originalist court might be that legislators take more care in crafting legislation that passes Constitutional muster.   If Originalists have integrity (and it's possible ACB might),  then they are a force towards shrinking the SCt, reducing its active role relative to Congress and state legislatures.  Whatever Barret's minuses,  I found her answers to be somewhat reassuring that she wouldn't turn into a religious activist justice.   But more questioning is needed,  in terms of what she did on the appellate bench.
Which is why democrats won’t venture down that path. What she did on the Appellate bench is an open book.

President Trump has tested negative for the novel coronavirus “on consecutive days,” according to the White House physician, who maintained that the president “is not infectious to others.”

Kamala Harris skipped the Barrett hearings which are being held indoors yet she has appeared at other indoor events, including the VP debate and the Ginsburg funeral.
BTW Diane Feinstein. Dick Durbin, and Richard Blumenthal all much older than Harris were present at the hearing.

When you’re trying to work the refs it means you know you’re losing.

You’re gonna get your judge... but it’s gonna cost.
What’s it going to cost?

President Donald Trump's doctor said Saturday the president is no longer at risk of transmitting the coronavirus.

And his doctor is NOT an MD, btw.
Neither is Joe Biden’s doctor.
In the USA doctors are either an MD (allopathic doctor) or DO (osteopathic doctor). For patients, there's virtually no difference between treatment by a DO or an MD.

Agree mostly.
No shit.

In other words, UNO is a troll and an ignorant one.

Congress should convert the Thurmond Rule from an urban legend into actual legislation, settling on a specific set of criteria for closeness to a presidential election.  For example, ACB was nominated 38 days from the election (the shortest distance from the election in history).  One criteria could be to look at early voting dates.  In South Dakota, that was Sept. 18th, which means that I could have already voted before Barrett's nomination.  So one possibility would be to say that no nominations can be made after the earliest states begin voting, which would provide a fairly rational demarcation point.
LOL
Let’s just stop ANY action by Governments doing ANYTHING Barton doesn’t like once early voting starts....

Why are you so afraid of democracy?

(this troll-countertroll offered purely for pedagogical puposes)
One more swing and a miss and you are out.

Wisconsin - no ballots after 11/3

When your electoral strategy depends on fewer people voting it means you know your policies suck for most people.
There has been NO such strategy.
Well, maybe you could make a case for the dems nominating Hillary.

Sure.
Thanks

LOL!
Red laughing at his own empty soul.

I have a new approach to trolling,  starting today.   Whenever someone trolls me,  I answer with this:  Why are you so afraid of democracy?

LOL!
Offering a differing opinion on your posts means that poster is opposed to democracy?
Then he is most certainly a troll(although the post was a RESONSE to yours ).
Then, of course, the next descriptor will most certainly be You are a Racist!

Get over yourself.

Why are the debates staged AFTER early voting starts?
More important why does any serious voter want to vote early BEFORE the campaigns are over?
