Can we not just ban for trolling and offtopic and be done with it?
You  already have that power.  What you do not have is discipline.

So after decades of family centered-entertainment, theme parks, movies, etc  billions of princess costumes to adorn cisgendered female heroines Disney now decides  it must take a stand against the Florida Conservative White Evangelical Christian Parental Rights in Education Bill?
Because in Florida if you want your children to be taught about human sexuality or civil rights from anything except a Conservative White Evangelical Christian perspective, you can get fucked.
Might want to read the law.

After raking in $trillions from Moms and Dads the Disney suits wearing mouse ears now tell parents to go fuck themselves?
Pretty sure LGBTQ people been coming to the park for decades too.
Sure, lots of them
are moms and dads, too. Disney does not discriminate against customers who buy their products.  What is your point?
Quote
And that LGBTQ people have worked there sine the park opened its doors.
And many of them oppose the Disney late-to-the-party stance. You are sputtering a lot but not making much sense.
Quote
And your belief that the government can take action against a corporation because of the nature of their political speech is noted, Vladimir.
Florida has yet to threaten Disney with anything. But if Disney is opposed to the Law why was it silent through the whole legislative process.?

Why, for example, are 70% of new vehicles sold in the US trucks and SUVs?  Most of them, if you watch cars in your town, are not hauling cargo or large groups or going off-road.

False marketing created a desire for something few people really need, outside of contractors and park rangers.  It's as if we are regressing from the ecological awareness of the seventies.   Everyone thinks someone else will solve these problems.  Government can't fix this, WE have to fix it, every single one of us.
For one thing a SUV is safer than a car, especially for those parents who haul kids as cargo.
Which runs in the tens of millions. Also higher resale value.
As for trucks, pickups with upscale trim packages do a better job of being luxury cars than many luxury cars.
And have way higher resale values. Checkout a GMC Denali sub-brand, a Ram Laramie Longhorn  or a Ford with platinum trim.
They have massive infotainment touchscreens, and pack a ton of convenience tech including cameras for reversing, parking, towing, and seeing trails.
The current F150 can basically be a mobile luxury lounge with 180-degree flat-folding seats and a center console with a fold-down work table.

In short, pay attention.

I think this will not end happily ever after.

Oh, those Polls!

The majority of Americans approve of the Florida  Parental Rights in Education law according to a poll publicized by the Editorial Board at the Wall Street Journal.

Even more notable is the breadth of that sentiment.
Democratic voters in the poll support the law 55 percent to 29 percent.
Among suburban voters, which could be a decisive group for the midterm elections, it is 60 % to 30 %. Parents: 67 percent to 24 percent.
Biden voters: 53 percent to 30 percent.
Respondents who know someone LGBTQ 61 percent to 28 percent.

The law was widely reported erroneously by liberal elitists as a  do not say gay law although that was a lie.
The Journal concluded that distortion

seems to be another example of how much the media and CEOs are out of touch with the public.

George Will on Ginni Thomas emails to Mark Meadows.

To say that Thomas was strategizing with the White House is akin to saying that the guy in the stadium upper deck yelling  Roll Tide!  and shouting suggested plays is strategizing with the Alabama football  team.
Does that guy in the upper deck have Nick Satan s email address?
LOL!

The fight against voter suppression is going to continue until state legislatures are a true representative cross section of the citizens.
Heavy.
And quite comical.

When is racism not racism? When it never happened.

An Ohio appeals court has upheld a ruling that awarded more than $30 million to a bakery that accused Oberlin College of damaging its business and libeling it with false accusations of racism.

LOS ANGELES (ABC)

A Los Angeles judge ruled Friday that a California Landmark  law mandating that corporations diversify their boards with members from certain racial, ethnic or LGBT groups is unconstitutional.

The brief ruling granted summary judgment to Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group that sought a permanent injunction against the measure that was signed into law last year.

The measure requires corporate boards of publicly traded companies with a main executive office in California to have a member from an underrepresented community, including LGBT, Black, Latino, Asian, Native American or Pacific Islander.

The lawsuit argued that violated the state  constitutional equal protection clause.

The decision declared unconstitutional one of the most blatant and significant attacks in the modern era on constitutional prohibitions against discrimination, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement.

On Biden as a jobs creator

Biden on
Stimulating Jobs
March 2021: 59 percent
March 2022: 39 percent

FAIL
Big Time!

This is an example of your anti-Americanism.
No that is part of a previously posted poll of Americans.
Try to connect the dots.

You are easy to follow.

You are reposting the data to celebrate the low polling numbers instead of celebrating the good job numbers.

And now, as usual, you are trying to pretend that is not what you were doing, when there was no other reason for you to have reposted that with your introductory comment.

Lie, deny, and obfuscate, same as usual.
Job numbers do not vote
Americans with opinions vote.

The New York Times reports that the decision by President Joe Biden to end Title 42 border protections could bring a surge of migrants amounting to 18,000 illegal crossings per day a pace that works out to over 6.5 million migrants per year.

Given that roughly 2 million migrants entered the U.S. across the border in 2021, the coming surge would see at least three times as many migrants crossing the border.

The Biden administration initially dismissed surging migration as seasonal.

Hmmm
About those midterms
