I do a fly by to read some posts and see you fucking masochists are still rehashing the same old shit.

I've found peace and happiness in other hobbies after redirecting my energy and focus away from this toxic franchise.

I saw that the Knicks went and won their last game. Typical.

And I agree with Nags -- Mills is a FUCKING MORON in a suit. Perry is an ass-hat too. I heard those assholes preaching patience to the fan base now. Too fucking funny. Two suits trying to protect their jobs and money tree.

Peace out boys

Just checking the rerun of the Melo choke from last  night.

I come back, read this and realize why I left.

Once an a-hole, always an a-hole.

What about them being overrated as you said early in the season.

Top 4 in the West. Dangerous team ass-hat.

Tells again how this Knick team was going to win 43 games.

I haven't watched a game or posted in a long while because:

1) Only the Knicks can fuck up a rebuild and break a fan's spirit

2) Only the Knicks would fucking give THJ $70M

3) Perry Mills ruins runs this team

4) Kid has faith in this team

ny needs to fix the Noah situation.

not sure how but right now it looks bad all around.

Not sure who or what to believe regarding this situation. I hated the signing ($$) but I like Noah and his tough NY spirit. One thing this team could have used early on was his fearless, competitive attitude and voice as a leader.

His history showed he was a team first guy and all about his teammates. I know injuries didn't help but Knicks fucked this one up too. This continues to be the purging of everything Phil Jackass.

If Jr. Tim was worth $17M, ATL would have considered matching.  They have a young rebuilding team.  Reportedly, Tim and his agent were astounded at what the Knix offered, were pretty certain it wouldn't be matched, and were thrilled.
RFA stuff is tricky, but you overpay for a guy who has proven himself, not potential.
Kind of a wasted season for Tim.
Let's hope he can have a better one next year.

BTW, wonder when the last time a guy was on fire a first half (something like 12-15 FG) and then sputtered badly in the 2nd half (2-9 FG)?

Besides hyper-streakiness, those mental mistakes are worrisome.  Late in a close game, Tim doesn't realize the double team, dribbles casually, almost goes into the backcourt, tosses a lame pass to a Wizard.  That was pretty inattentive and rook style play.

Muddy has similar lapses as well ...

Spot on. I don't dislike Timmy and want him to perform better but I think it was a terrible signing given the $$. I also hate his shot selection and understanding of the game (or lack-thereof). His actions on the court and instincts are lacking.

timmy on fire again--- NOT.

I fucking argued with Chip early on. This kid is a role player on a 2nd unit and NOT a starting scorer.

Fuck Mills for giving him that contract.

Tell us about the rabbits again George

good one, now how many games have you been waiting to pull that one out of your ass.......yeah, that's the point and the problem.

Not worth $17M for the inconsistent offense, bone-headed IQ and non-existent defense he plays.

On the positive side, if you give him 35 minutes a night, he could shoot us all the way down to the number 4 or 5 pick in the draft. For each of the next four years.

True enough -- but with every bad shot and decision he makes it cements the lack of trust in him. While in this slump. if he buckled down and played some defense, didn't make lazy passes and attacked the rim instead of throwing up ill-advised 30 ft bombs I would learn to appreciate him and his game more.

Chip - what is Mudiay's Euro connection? He's a Congolese refugee to Texas who skipped college to play in China because his family needed money.

(Takes a cold heart not to hope he succeeds)

First off, Muddy has already succeeded.
He's in the NBA and making $3.4M this year, likely as much or more than most here will make in their lifetime.  His rook contract was something like 4/$11M.  His family goes hungry no more.

Secondly, I don't think anyone roots against any player, hoping they  flame out.  We're evaluating the winners, the guys who've made it to the NBA and gotten a good payday.  We're just trying to see who can play well at this level and who can't; what talents and flaws players have.

And since Muddy is on the Knix, I assume everyone here is rooting for him to do well.  I didn't like the games of Kanter and Jr Tim, but they are Knix and I hope they develop, improve, transcend.  Kanter has had a pretty good season.  Still defensive issues, but he's done terrific with his strengths of boarding and scoring inside.

As for Muddy, I was semi-interested in drafting him(we always need a PG).  But worried about his mystery man aura and lack of prep.  He has an NBA body, is strong enough to be a combo guard or SG.  Decent vision, so he could develop his PG skills.  His shot isn't good and oddly he doesn't finish well inside.  He makes some good passes, but also can be wild, and gets out of control.  His defensive focus, esp away from the ball isn't usually good.  There's a decent core to work with.  Knix not going anywhere, so can feed him minutes, and develop him this year and next.

He's succeeded in life, hope he does with the Knix as well.

Agree on all points. The one thing people are also forgetting or not mentioning about Muddy is how he handled his lack of minutes and demotion in Denver. Never said a bad word about management, coaching or the position he was in; exhibited lots of team spirit from the bench; Some will call out that he ignored the press out there (that's true) but only so he wasn't baited into saying something negative and to keep the focus on the team and not him....He showed great composure for a young player today.

Ok, so we need:

A new GM
A new president
A new defensive coach
A new head coach

A new fan base

Celts no showed tonight

Love him or hate him but this team misses the edge and grit that Smart brings

Hey Banky you weren't going to be the lead horse from start to finish. Still a very strong playoff team where anything can happen if you get on a good roll.

Embrace it.

Could be so much worse. Just look at us.

EM looked good.

God damn right he does. 6 pts 4 assists in 9 min so far. The kid is going to love NY as I said.

Chip's a jerkoff

I liked Cheeks as a Knick.

50% FG, 4-1 assists/turnovers....

Only one jerkoff here and my man Chip ain't it

JJ starts at PG tonight - unbelievable

Scouting report from a year ago (Feb 2017)

"From the top of the key, Mudiay ranks as the 5th most efficient one-on-one player in the league."

"ISO Facilitation for Teammates – When taking his man off of the dribble, Mudiay does a superb job of finding teammates. So far this season, he is the second best player in the league (99th percentile), in finding teammates for scoring opportunities when going one-on-one."

Have at it
