And Joel Osteen is fake, and he does not help the homeless and he does not do the things that God asks us to do in Matthew 25: 31-46.

I like you, Tony

This is a poor take.  Don't hate him because he got rich.

He claims to be a Christian, but he does not help the poor and the needy and the fatherless and the people in prison, etc, like the Bible says in Matthew. If you do not help the homeless people, then you are not a Christian, plain and simple.

Salute,

Tony V.

Who does Osteen help, Tony?

Find out and post it here.

Himself, Kid.

In America we have people now who are getting degrees in "Ethnic Studies" instead of seeing all Americans as being equal. They are dividing everyone up by ethnicity, instead of teaching people that all men are created equal. And for me, I descended from the Cowboys and Indians, my only people are Americans, I do not have an ethnic group to support me or for me to be in a community with.

Salute,

Tony V.

If you descended from the "Indians" then you have an ethnic group to support you.

You keep talking about "good Christians," and if you belonged to one of their communities, they might help you. Might. Would they make you rich? No, but they would probably make sure you got fed.

I can't do much for you while you are in Anaheim, Tony, because the folks I know there have little more in the way of resources than you seem to. Nor do I have the foggiest what your skillsets are, with the possible exception of film-making.

But it seems to me that if you were to turn your attention to making small segments of your bigger idea and then presented it once per week or once per month and set up a Patreon or one of the other creative endeavor support systems, assuming your creativity is what you believe it is, you might be able to build up a following that would generate a decent income for you as well as potentially catching the eyes of others in your field.

Conversely, there are tons of $15-20 per hour jobs in this part of the world, begging for workers and with little to no "homework" to jam up your relaxation time.

Or there is free professional grade animation software you could use for your storytelling, perhaps.

Why not?

His getting rich is the opposite of what he claimed and claims to be about.

Peters, a fifth-generation preacher based in Knoxville, Tennessee, founded the Patriot Church movement in September 2020 because he saw the country moving further and further away from its origins as a Christian nation, fueled by a perceived censorship of conservative opinion.

Exactly.

Jason Whitlock would agree.

But since it was never a Christian nation, his perceptions are full of baloney.

In today's madness from the internet, I am seeing postings of a tweet from Candace Owens who claims to have been reading through "Fauci's experiments." She then expressed horror at the treatment of monkeys in one of the experiments.

The experiment is, of course, horrifying, whether you just take her word for it or you research it.

Of course, researching it is not quite as simple as you might think for an experiment done by Fauci about acid and monkey's brains.

That's because Fauci didn't do any such experiment that I could find. I did find the set of experiments that got complained about in 2019, none of which involved Fauci - they involved NIH funding. If it was NIH, she seems to have reasoned, then Fauci must be responsible for them.

Not that she actually cares about primate research. In fact, I would wager that before somebody pointed her at these as a vector for attacking him, she would have been in favor had you asked her, but otherwise would have given it zero consideration.

As is so often the case - mock concern is solely used as an avenue of attack, whether about the situation of minorities, the well-being of children, or the medical safety of women.

The lack of sincere interest is a huge factor in why the research about the issue (whichever issue) is so shoddy and incomplete. But it sure does work the followers up into a lather, when they will forget the topic when the next "outrage" comes along.

Congrats to Tom.

Not really a great day for him though

Only finished 4th for fantasy, when out for so much of the 2nd half. Only threw four touchdowns in the first half.

Yeah, "not really a great day for him."

You should have such not really great days, at any age.

"The Mississippi River begins at Lake Itasca, a small glacial lake in northern Minnesota, and flows southward for 2,350 miles until it reaches the Gulf of Mexico".

Downhill.   That's how rivers work.   You can't channel it westward towards the arid parts of USA.  Gravity,  ya know.

Yes you can, pipelines.
Rivers in Oregon flow into the sea, that water could be piped to CA.
Costs too much?
Use the spaceships to Mars money.
China will, when it owns all the land.

You could pipe water from Colorado to Texas to feed new lakes in Texas, and electricity can be generated by generators on the pipe. The new immigrants could move to Texas to live by the new lakes, and they can boat and swim and fish in the new lakes, and water ski, etc. The new immigrants could get water, electricity, and a place for recreation. They can hire people to put in cobblestone streets too, whatever you want, fountains, landscaping, whatever you want.

Salute,

Tony V.

Have you not been paying attention, Tony?

The Colorado is running short. Their state can't afford to have their water piped elsewhere.

TB12 throws for a 600th TD

amazing.

He's just a system quarterback. (Nobody else can use the same system as well, though.)

It's because the rules changes protect him so much (even if they don't protect others as well).

Modern times. More opportunity. The refs protect him more. TB must be cheating now, or he would not do as well.

(The sounds of the world's saddest song being played on the world's smallest violin can be heard as the Brady haters and dismissers are raised in objection to Brady's accomplishments.)
