Smart chick

Should she run for any other office she will get destroyed

Stay in your lane, lass.

I look forward to your swallowing your foot up to the kneecap, asshole.

People like you predicted she would lose the first time. Then that she would never get reelected.

"Stay in your lane," indeed.

Jodi Lavoie-Carnes, 48, a dental hygienist who lives in Dover, New Hampshire, supported President Trump for re-election. On Saturday, she was shocked and disturbed by the boisterous celebrations of Biden supporters, who had gathered in her town waving profane anti-Trump signs.

The tone was so negative that she wondered what lies ahead for the country.

“I’m like, are you serious?” she said. “The language doesn’t need to be there. My children need to drive by that.”

She said it was President-elect Biden’s responsibility to keep the tone of celebrations civil.

“Now you’re an elect, so calm them down,” she said.

I will offer this olive branch to pro Trump voter:  I kind of agree,  about profane anti-Trump signs and Biden celebrants.   It's possible to celebrate what you see as good things to come for America,  without being a "sore winner. "   That kind of rub-their-faces-in-it stuff isn't going to help reduce the divisiveness or win over anyone who could be a little open to some changes.

Not saying two wrongs make a right but what hapoened to “Fuck your feelings, you snowflakes?”

That's only for them to say to us.

Had the inverse happened, I doubt you would have heard from her.

And it is not as if she's been front and center, pushing for civility or decent treatment of human beings by the Trump administration.

Maine and Vermont still are the lowest for deaths, as well. New Hampshire is 41st -proximity to eastern MA is a likely factor. Alaska and Hawaii are the 3rd and 4th lowest.

Painting a positive picture of Maine re:  corona virus?  You may wish to check recent developments

Happy to hear Vivek Murthy will be heading Biden's COVID task force.  He's quite solid in my view.

Their recent developments are bad as Maine goes, Kid, but good compared to the bulk of this country, let alone the Dakotas.

Got evidence that says otherwise?!

Maine is currently worse that quite a few places.  About to reach crisis level.  Praying for Vermont now as well.

Stuffy they sure are about their relative good health

So, no. No evidence.

What else is new?

Gee, they dropped the suit?! I am sooo sooo surprised.

Quote
Voters who sued over the use of Sharpies to fill out ballots in Maricopa County in the battleground state of Arizona have dropped their lawsuit after claiming the permanent markers could have invalidated ballots there.

The filing in a state court Saturday came hours after CNN projected Joe Biden as the President-elect.

The Trump campaign had joined in the lawsuit.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican, determined on Thursday that after an investigation, there was nothing to claims that the use of the markers invalidated any ballots.

"Based on correspondence and conversations with Maricopa County officials, we are now confident that the use of Sharpie markers did not result in disenfranchisement for Arizona voters. We appreciate the county's prompt insight and assurances to address public concerns," Brnovich tweeted.

The US now has more than 3 percent of its population having tested positive for COVID-19.

Only three states remain with below 1% having tested positive:
Maine
New Hampshire
Vermont.

Only five others are below 2%.

Massachusetts and New York, once the top states for COVID cases, are now 37th and 27th, respectively, for COVID-cases per million.

Who are the worst?!

North and South Dakota, with 6.98% and 6.1%, respectively. Remember that whole thing with Governor Noem and how great their approach had been?!

Yeah, right.

Nobody else is as high as 5%.

They're not doing as poorly with deaths, where NY and MA still lead the charge, having had the bulk of their deaths early on before any treatments that were helpful had been found.

But North Dakota is climbing swiftly, now up to 10th in the country, having been 12th yesterday. They will likely be 9th tomorrow, but it will take them a week to pass DC for 8th and then under a month to pass from there to 6th.

South Dakota is also climbing faster than most states are, but they're only up to 24th, so far.

Maine and Vermont still are the lowest for deaths, as well. New Hampshire is 41st -proximity to eastern MA is a likely factor. Alaska and Hawaii are the 3rd and 4th lowest.

I think Trump will be fine after seeing this all through

2024 should be interesting

The statement from the campaign was actually quite measured and reasonable.  You are right - Trump for now will keep playing at this election - like any Democrat would in similar circumstance.

Campaign is being criticized somewhat for 2 things:

1)  the over the top campaign vs mail in voting
2)  currently not having a good enough ready to go team to continue the fight

You are a fucking liar, but what else is new? There is no other Democratic Party candidate who would or has done what Trump is doing, throwing doubt on the legitimacy of our political process and accusing people left and right of fraud. If you were right, then CLINTON would have been demanding recounts everywhere from the moment she fell behind in WI, MI, or PA.

Nor did she vow not to concede - rather, "Clinton conceded the 2016 presidential election to Republican Donald Trump on November 9 after media outlets declared Trump had exceeded the 270 electoral college vote threshold needed to win the election and ending the campaign."

You are also delusional if you think "Trump will be fine," given the various lawsuits which are going to proceed against him in federal and state courts, both criminal and civil.

OTOH, there is a good chance he will go from one form of subsidized public housing to another. Couldn't happen to a nicer autocrat-wannabe!

Read the Constitution

Article I, Section 10, Clause 3:

No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

A Constitutional Ammendment or Congressional Approval could change things but  either needs such heavy lifting they won’t be tried.  What we have is a movement to establish a cartel of states to permanently elect Presidents to the detriment of the rest of the states.
No state today is prohibited from assigning its electors to the winner of the “ popular” vote.
None do.
Why is that?

Because it hasn't hit 270, yet. As soon as it does, they will.

And it will be legal for them to do so, because the Constitution is filled with areas of potential conflict - but that is not among them.

That interstate agreement is cricket until SCOTUS says otherwise. Don't hold your breath.

It's official by NBC, uncle Joe is the president elect.

They all called it at once, as soon as the new PA votes came in.

Except Fox, whose website is still spinning conspiracy theories about election machines here and voter fraud there.

It's not just Meadows (unsurprisingly):

https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/06/politics/mark-meadows-coronavirus-positive-test/index.html

Five members, at least, are COVID-19 positive.

And, again, they made no effort to warn their own staffers that this had happened. Instead, they kept it under wraps.

Dodgers now have five cases of COVID-19.

Can't imagine from whom they might have caught it...

Biden should run a shadow gov't on health care and the virus for the next 3 months.

He's already doing it and he's not being shadowy about it, which I think is for the best.

I continue to disagree with you about Dr. Fauci. More mixed about Dr. Birx, who came in seeking the spotloght, but who eventually came around to understand how she was being used.

Dr. Atlas should be imprisoned and held for trial on accessory to murder charges and medical malpractice.
