Pointing out racism is indeed not anger,  Nor is it racism to point out others racist behavior.  Ascribing negative behavior and motives to individuals because of the color of their skin is, however, racism. By definition.

Assuming you’re white and I’m black, what is the most likely result if I call the police on you because I’m annoyed?

Now reverse that situation... racism is prejudice WITH POWER.

I have no power over you beyond us being individuals, while you can exert power over me by becoming an extension of the State.

Caspice?
That's the Spike Lee argument: i.e. blacks can't be racists because they have no power. I capisce  and don't agree. But it allowed Spike the leeway to do some fine Jewish stereotypes in "Mo Better.."  But fair enough, you can define racism how you'd like.

I can't imagine the Democrats are going to be able to get another non-American through the nomination process.

"Whitesplain"? If I used "blacksplain" what would you call me? And rightfully so.

You've completely twisted my words with a justification that it's "what black people hear".Then I'm told I'm not listening. I think we're at an impasse.

I hear you fine.

”See how more and more people pay less and less attention.”

Hey, anytime you walk into a store, or anywhere at all some white person can call the cops and you can end up arrested or dead, but just shut up and go with it, right?
You actually think I said that? If "winning" an argument is so important that you need to invent what I said then congratulations you win!!!!

The Montgomery bus system was a systemic institutional state-sponsored, racism. By all accounts there has been no such activity by Starbucks. The offending employee was dealt with appropriately. Goddammit.

You're more than welcome to exert whatever kind of pressure is available to you to effect whatever change you are seeking. I don't think this undercuts the point I'm making.

Fine. Boycott Starbucks. And boycott the next place that has an idiot manager. And the next place. See how much that helps. And see how more and more people pay less and less attention. Which is the exact opposite of what a boycott is supposed to do. Goddammit. I'm not the person you need to be angry at.

Brainless blacks and professional protestors a huge portion of Starbuck's market share?

First,  brainless blacks is a bigoted epithet.  Try being civil.

Second,  you don't have to be professional (whatever that means) to get coffee somewhere else.

Third,  you don't think true Americans who stand against bigotry might be willing to send a message?
I think a boycott over what appears to be a one-time idiocy runs the risk of starting a boy-who-cried wolf situation.

Now that's the kind of knowledgeable baseball analysis this site craves!

You're right. I meant to write vertigo. LOL!!!!

Like you don't know the difference between "benefactor" and "beneficiary," I don't know the difference between "vertigo" and "best."

LOL!
