Once again, Defense wins Championships. Sometimes. Offenses wins Championships.  Sometimes. Being able to play both wins Championships.  Usually. See as proof the last three playoffs.

If defense wins championships how much should the  CFP Committee ding Oklahoma for not having much of one?

Funny you would ask that when you(and others) loudly decried the LSU/Bama defensive battle of a while back.

But now that there is a team from the Big 10 playing stellar defense who is in the mix...
Though I have us in the playoffs, i suspect that fourth loss takes us out of the mix in the Committee's eyes.

So, based on a quick calculation, in the three battleground states that put Trump over the top, Democrats outperformed Republicans in Congressional races:

Wisky: 125000 votes
Michigan: 286000 votes
Penn: 491000 votes

Now, there are a lot of reasons why congressional races go the way they do. And each state had one district where there was no Republican in the race - I arbitrarily gave any votes for third or fourth party candidates to the Republican total. But these are states Trump has to win in 2020, and voters in a time of.relative peace and prosperity opted against the party in power.

Sisto's seat was empty, and the People are outraged that he was stab-slaughtered by an Islamic terrorist;

Empty seat for Melbourne terror victim

A coffee machine burbles, the smell of freshly-ground beans fill the air: it's like so many other mornings at the popular Melbourne cafe, except a star attraction is missing.

Sisto Malaspina's bar stool stands empty, facing a burning candle, a folded newspaper and one of his favourite long black coffees on the counter.

They would have bee  much happier had he been killed by a white supremacist.

No State will ever make it difficult to vote absentee, regardless of the obvious risk of fraud, because it would disenfranchise the military. Neither party will do that, especially not Republicans who rely on the military vote in close elections.

You know that's a state thing, right?
Do you show an ID to vote absentee in the Great State of Denial, or wherever it is you live?

So counting the early voting seems to have changed four races here: Sinema as Senator, the Superintendent of Public instruction, one of the members of the Corporation Committee (regulates utilities) and possibly Secretary of State. Since Republicans still have the governor, and majorities (albeit only two votes or so) in both houses of the legislature I look for legislation restricting early voting. "Embarrassing to have to wait days for results! We have to do something (other than updating equipment and computer equipment because that costs money!)"

Interesting. I had.to show ID and sign for a signature match when I voted in person. My wife just had to sign her early vote. I could have given an early ballot to someone else and had them drop it off at a polling place and no one would have cared if the signature matched. If the only ID required for.early voting is a signature match, why do I need an ID to vote in person?

Spelling guide to the K caucus and one cabinet Trump zombiette:

Kristen Gillibrand
Kyrsten Sinema
Kirstjen Nielsen

Kyrsten will become the first woman elected to Senate in AZ,  and the first bisexual (openly) in the Senate.   Good to see the continued shift away from an old men's club.
She will also be the Second Senator to wear a pink tutu.

I would normally think 13k votes could not be overcome in a recount, but Scott sure seems to think it is possible.

Hasn't Governor Scott proclaimed exactly what Ms Snipes is guilty of?

What is this "where's the evidence" all about?  None of it is in question.
There is no evidence of voter fraud. Scott has not presented any. Scott has claimed technical violation of.election law, but nothing that constitutes fraud or any irregularuty in the vote counts. None.

McSally may be Senator before.Sinema. Kyle's appointment was only to the end of the year.

Two percent of the US Senate are named "Kyrsten".

How bad are the Jets

You should probably seriously consider other more reliable transportation.

Depending on destination, Amtrak or a bus.
Having the Bills put 41 points up on you is a good indicator. That's like five games worth of points for Buffalo
It's That Matt Barkley Magic!

Shady can still play when it gets blocked

McCown should be ashamed.  Just wasn't ready.
Alternatively, he remains McCown.
