http://www.nationalreview.com/article/456322/donald-trump-rob-porter-statement-trivializes-domestic-abuse?utm_source=Social&utm_medium=Facebook&utm_campaign=Timpf

The uber-liberal National Review chimes in on Rob Porter and Trump's statement on the topic.

The White House Response to Rob Porter’s Resignation Is Sickening

"Rob Porter is not the victim here."

That's Rob Porter, whose temporary security status expired on Jan 15, btw.

I suspect Kelly may be gone as a result of the Porter debacle.

And?

They’re venal AND incompetent!

Piece was on target at the time.

Joy's lasting so long shows how little talent is actually seeking jobs at MS

Bullshit. Joy Reid is a terrific pundit because she is a hard working journalist. You come on the set with her you better leave your bullshit talking points at home or she will NOT SO politely interrupt you...... (learn to use eclipses, dammit!) and too bad if you cant handle being schooled by a black woman smarter than you.

Bullshit. Joy Reid is a terrific pundit because she is a hard working journalist. You come on the set with her you better come correct or she will politely kick your ass... That’s why I give props to the GOP mouthpieces who come on AM Joy and spew talking points.

And here is the perspective of conservative media concerning the same interview...

Objectively? he got his head handed to him.

I will say, tho  that the images of the severed heads are affecting.

For myself, I feel a great sympathy for the newly dead girls.

Topic to the side, I have to hand it to the artist for capturing that emotion and freezing it. That is not an easy thing to do.

Maybe Kathy Griffin bought that painting?

Seriously...https://www.yahoo.com/news/obama-portrait-painter-kehinde-wiley-092035977.html

BTW...the Obama painting? Manspreading in a field of poison ivy....very, uh..."presidential".

Sheeeeeeeeeessshhhh.

Manspreading? Are you threatened by the image of his parted thighs being reinforced by the size of his hands?

Boz I appreciate and understand your skepticism and derision, but there is a point in combatting evil and stupidity.

I earn a merit badge and its fun.

but mostly its February, worst sports month of the year.

The stupidity is all yours.

Peddro.

You've never quite grasped how every day you get played.

Dope.

FFS...

Really getting annoyed at all these news stories that are wondering where oh where did all the deficit scolds go in the Republican Party.  “Republicans used to hate Deficits.  What happened?”

Such idiots. A Republican President happened!   Republicans never hated deficits.  How the hell could they forget what happened under George W. Bush?  It was just 9 years ago.

Why is the supposedly “leftist media” so gullible when it comes to consuming the total bullshit that comes out of the Right?

323  National / Bush Administration / Re: Bush Administration on: February 13, 2018, 01:37:07 AM

This?

This is you, demonstrating the ever-increasing thickness in your skull that makes it impossible for you to read a simple story and understand how it connects to the comment that came with it.

The police told the press that the kids had done the robbery, Kid. Did you miss that?

The police took SIX MONTHS to admit that they had not done the robbery. Did you miss that?

That was WITH the tape. That was WITH the fact that the gun belonged to the perpetrator, not the kids. Did you miss that, too?!

Oh, is that what you took from it?

I took that the idiot almost got himself killed (hen later bragged about it) rather than give up his wallet.

Have a seat, fool.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-nazi-arthur-jones-open-letter-holocaust-0211-story.html

The Holocaust denier, Arthur Jones, bothers me. That he will be the GOP nominee bothers me.

But I have to say, I am pretty sure this "open letter" to him bothers me more.

And when the end times come and my Jews help me get to heaven by being cast into the fiery pit...

Only the best people...

Infrastructure Week, you bet!

SUCKERS!

And folks wonder why folks are wary of the police...

327  National / Bush Administration / Re: Bush Administration on: February 12, 2018, 07:05:36 PM

The irony is thick.  Trump wants to run us deep into the red ink for infrastructure on the surface, but he can't grasp that NASA builds infrastructure and supports it in space, which paves the way for the private sector.  He truly has no grasp of what coherent policy is.

Yeah he does. The coherent policy is to help his pals loot and plunder the nations resources... this is a mafia-style bust out on a national scale.

He’s gonna turn us into Russia.
328  National / Bush Administration / Re: Bush Administration on: February 12, 2018, 07:02:16 PM
One of the cuts is to eliminate Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants, based on their being less targeted than Pell Grants.

This totally misses the point - they serve in ways Pells don't.

The whole shebang is filled with this sort of garbage.

Think of the money he could save if he just took fewer golf trips...

another:
Quote
"The Budget eliminates the International Education and Foreign Language Studies Domestic and Overseas Programs, which are designed to strengthen the capability and performance of American education in foreign languages and international studies. Other Federal Agencies whose primary mission is national security implement similar programs and are better equipped to support the objective of these programs."

No, no they don't and no, they are not.

"Whose primary mission is national security..." makes them, perforce, less well equipped to support the objective of these programs.

Going back to the bad old days of the Cold War...

Maybe she should be known as "Ho" Hicks?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/inside-hope-hicks-apos-troubled-184347178.html?.tsrc=jtc_news_index

BTW, it's important that Porter be investigated for possible criminal behavior as he never was fully cleared by the FBI to serve in the WH and should not have had clearance by the apparently enabler, Chief of Staff, to look at any top secret files that were coming through there while he was there.

If there was ever anyone who fit the profile of a potential blackmail target, which of course compromises the security of the country, it's Porter.

And now, we might need to look much more carefully at Ho Hicks, too.

She’s a “Ho” because she dates co workers?

You’re really a prince.

Nothing like missing the larger point. But then, that IS your specialty, Knicks. Dating MARRIED coworkers, dimwit.

It is widely reported she was dating Porter who is twice divorced.

Now, if you want to make case that Lewandowski (who is married to a 9/11 widow) dropped the dime on Porter because he was jealous Porter and Hicks were squeaking the sheets then you might have a point about the security clearances. It is rumored Lewandowski and Hicks had an affair during the campaign.

However, that still doesn’t justify you calling a woman a whore. Just proves you’re a misogynist with terrible double standards.

Ho Hicks. It sticks.

IF you knew what I know, instead of what you think you know, you'd get it.

But, you don't.

Again.

It's a message board.  You tell us what you think you know that you consider to be getting it.  Instead of cutting poses as some savvy insider.  This forum is here for communication, so communicate already.  Or STFU.

You can't handle the truth.

You do remember the character who delivered that line was an asshole of the first order...

You can't pull the "I know something you don't know" to make your point. If you have the goods say so or just be quiet.

College.

Um, so?
