The hook is in and the barb has caught. Look at the sad little fish try to wiggle off the line. Good to know he’ll be on the fire soon. We need to get his bones in the ground to help the crops of freedom grow as they should again.

Or, Pence is a criminal scumbag and now everyone knows it. Yet another sad fuck who won’t finish his term

http://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/05/mike-pence-calls-for-an-end-to-the-mueller-probe-what-is-he-afraid-of.html

Here, Pence isn't any different from any other Republican calling for an end to the probe, knowing that the longer it goes on, the better the chances that it unearth's politically damaging illegal or at the very least extremely shady activity.  Pence knows its there (either because he knows it for fact, or just knows Trump well enough.)   Does that mean he is guilty of it himself?  Not necessarily.  Though there are real questions regarding the lies he told re: Flynn.

On the other hand you have guys like Nunes (whose latest moves come at the possible expense of important intelligence sources) who with the blessing of Ryan are actively trying to undermine Mueller's efforts.  There, you have to ask...Are they taking these extraordinary steps (drafting memos full of lies, lobbing bullshit at the FBI, compromising rule-of-law tenets that the GOP once supposedly held dear) while not knowing what it is they are covering up, or do they know exactly what they are covering up.  Because sorry, you simply don't pull this shit if you know the guy is innocent.

Pence was the head of the Transition Team so he is either incompetent, willfully stupid or complicit.

A reminder, everything we hear Mueller has known for weeks.

Mass shooting in AUSTRALIA, 7 dead

But how?Huh

People on farms are allowed to have weapons for protection from wildlife. In 2014 a farmer killed himself and his wife and three kids in a mass shooting.

Today a similar family annihilator killed seven.

That’s how.

You know he retired from politics, right?

Yep.  Just wants power

heh

This ain’t no party, this ain’t no disco, this ain’t the West Wing show!

He’s already registered domains for 2024 and 2028 and after he’s beamed himself into Fox watching Utah households for the next year he'll run for governor in 2020.

Why do you pretend to know anything about politics?

BREAKING NEWS!

Nah...

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/04/jason-chaffetz-oversight-chairman-retiring-congress-trump/

By the way, Chaffetz is quite a dick. After the 2012 re-election of Obama, Chaffetz was doing a hit at the Cannon Rotunda where he bitched about Obama’s nerve to blah, blah blah. Whatever Obama was for Jason was agin it. After he wrapped with Chris Matthews I asked him if he thought elections had consequences and didn’t the president deserve a Congress he could at least work with for the benefit of the nation? he replied, “I won mine.”

This guy gives not one shit about the people, he’s all about power. He’s a dangerous motherfucker.

Cotton was great today in the Senate confirmation hearings.

Kamala Harris on the other hand was a fanged harpie out for a midday catch.

Hint - she  came up quite empty.

Both assessments seem absurdly partisan.  Cotton was rude and vicious, and spoke out of turn and then refused to stop when gaveled out of order.  He used his question time to wave a partisan flag, rather than ask illuminating questions.  He's the angry partisan who talked Trump out of the bipartisan agreement on immigration.  He called Durbin and Graham liars when they reported Trump's "shithole countries" remark.  He wrote to Iran to urge them not to negotiate with Obama, who was our President at the time.  As partisan hatchet man, he blocked confirmation of Cassandra Butts, her being a friend of Obama.  He hurls insults and accusations of evil at anyone who disagrees with him.  As someone recently noted, he is more hated in the Senate than Ted Cruz.  As for Harris, she has reservations about torturing prisoners.  Wow, what a harpie, having, like, some kind of conscience and caring about what kind of nation we are.

You are a troll.  And the kind of troll who really is unencumbered by the process of thought or getting all the facts.

I leave you with Obama's comment on Cotton's (and the other signers of the letter) treacherous 2015 letter to the Ayatollah of Iran:

"I'm embarrassed for them. For them to address a letter to the Ayatollah – the Supreme Leader of Iran, who they claim is our mortal enemy – and their basic argument to them is: don't deal with our President, 'cause you can't trust him to follow through on an agreement ... That's close to unprecedented."

You should question the character of someone who would subvert sensitive negotiations on such a matter, in order to score partisan points.

Cotton is a bastard. He blocked Cassandra Butts appointment as ambassador for over 800 day’s until she died of cancer.

Kilt her

The bastid!

---

Wait til I am President. I can hire allllll my friends

Ms. Butts met the future president in 1988, when they were filling out financial-aid forms during their first days at Harvard Law School. They had a shared interest in jazz and remained close friends throughout law school and in later years.

Kid's all about qualifications. Thus his enthusiastic support of Ben Carson, Betsy Devos and, of course, the President himself.

Recall in West Wing where Bartlett didnt even know the people that had been hired.

Yep - Sorkin's a bit of a prick - but his show was incredible.

Obama went against all the hiring norms.

Yeah he hired qualified people for jobs specific to their expertise. Cassandra Butts was appointed as an Ambassador after a long and distinguished career in law and public service. Cotton blocked her no other reason except he could stick it to Obama.

Meanwhile, if you're basing your idea of government on the fictional West Wing why aren't you screaming about the incompetence of this administration.

The Market went up because energy stocks went up. Energy stocks went up cause oil prices went up a lot.

Actually the market was flat and oil prices went down.

The fuck are you talking about?

If I understand Red correctly, he thinks Obama created the current Iran crisis because the mechanism he needed to use to enact the agreement left it vulnerable to the idiotic whims of a bumbling amateur with no notion of international diplomacy, international relations, or international negotiations, who neither knows nor cares about the realities and actual provisions of the agreement. Frankly, if I deliberately drive my car into a ditch it is not Ford's fault for including a steering wheel on the car.

Its the notion that its Obama's fault for not adhering to a process that required a 2/3 majority that is truly laughable.

47 Senators led by Tom Cotton sent a letter to the Supreme Leader trying to kill the deal before it was even done!  There was no possible deal, none, that would have gotten that much GOP support.

Which means Trump had an easier path to killing a deal Republicans had already opposed.
Had the deal been approved as outlined in Article Two of the Constitution Trump would have had a much more difficult road to traverse.

Sure. And your assumption the Senate would have cooperated is based on what?

I never assumed it would. Neither did Obama. So he struck his own deal.
And now Trump owns any replacement.

Yeah, but what was the point? Why did he just HAVE to violate the deal right now?

Because this is a three ringed circus being run by the candy colored clown and you can’t watch all three rings simultaneously.

Domestic and foreign Corruption and collusion in one ring, pornographic actor’s Law suit in another, and in the third ring North Korea giving up everything to “show good faith” knowing full well they will give up the one real thing... like never. POTUS violating Iran agreement for no good reason because it strengthens the hardliners and mullahs.

Damn, but there’s some serious shit going on in ring three!

Khadaffi gave up his nuclear program, Saddam gave up his nuclear program and look what happened to them.

North Korea saw what happened in Libya and Iraq and nukes became essential to survival.

So Iran cut a deal to stave off crippling sanctions and revolution, in return for giving up THEIR program for the next ten to fifteen years they get paid.

Now the mullahs, who are letting the citizens practically starve by keeping all that money in weapons and armed support of factions across the region, oh and of course corruption, can say to their citizens who are sick of them, “Look! It is the fault of the Great Satan that you’re lives suck!”  And that’s gonna stick because that’s called nationalism.

It’s like your sibling is an asshole and you constantly bitch about them. A friend of yours who knows your sibling very well says, “Dude, your sib is an asshole!”

Now you’re ready to square up and make your friend harvest some hands when he says, “but you said...”

“Yeah, but that’s MY sibling and you keep their name outcha mouth!”

North Korea is on the rocks. Their military is weak except they went all in on nukes and ICBMs, now that they have both they can give up both testing programs, (they don’t need them anymore) but they ain’t NEVER gonna give up their nukes or delivery systems.

“You wanna hold military exercises with the folks in the South? Go head, no problem. Release the three hostages? Sure! we got an unconditional meeting coming up so who needs those three losers? you want em, you got em. Make sure we never use our nukes, huh? What’s it worth to you? OK! No, I keep the nukes you pay so I don’t invade the South, caspisce?”

So who benefits?

Trump violates Iran deal and stocks go up. Should Trump supporters be happy?

Nope!

The Market went up because energy stocks went up. Energy stocks went up cause oil prices went up a lot.

So wealthy moffuccurs did well but “Regular Joes” about to get FUCKED as theyve been buying SUVs and Pick Ups because cheap gas.

So who benefits? Defense contractors and lobbyists. Swampy McSwampy!

SUCKERS!

Looking back on the Iraq Invasion France said it wasn’t gonna end well and our legislators removed all references in the cafeteria.

The hardliners in Iran are burning flags in their legislature to whip the citizens into a frenzy at the US for who they blame for their living situations. The people have not benefited from any trickle down from the lifted sanctions and returned monies. So they’re pissed at the government but by acting a fool the USA will help the hardliners (rich mullah) turn the citizenry on the moderates.

You have no clue about foreign politics...
327  National / Bush Administration / Re: Bush Administration on: May 09, 2018, 10:00:55 PM
---After the summit, British prime minister Neville Chamberlain declared that the Munich agreement meant "peace for our time".

The Munich Agreement was a settlement permitting Nazi Germany's annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia along the country's borders mainly inhabited by German speakers, for which a new territorial designation, the "Sudetenland", was coined. The agreement was signed in the early hours of 30 September 1938 (but dated 29 September) after being negotiated at a conference held in Munich, Germany, among the major powers of Europe, excluding the Soviet Union. Today, it is widely regarded as a failed act of appeasement toward Germany. The purpose of the conference was to discuss the future of the Sudetenland in the face of demands made by Adolf Hitler. The agreement was signed by Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Italy. The Sudetenland was of immense strategic importance to Czechoslovakia, as most of its border defenses and banks were situated there,[1][2] as well as heavy industrial districts.---  wiki

The similarities between Nazi Germany and Ayatollahland are incredibly obvious. France and England should know better than to make treaties with agressive fascist dictatorships.

Do you really think the U.K. was ready (had the capacity) to go to war in 1938?

We should be working to overthrow the theocratic Ayatollahs with their calls for "death to America". Not making them rich and comfortable.

What planet are you on?

The 2018 planet earth, not the 618 version.

Nah,dude. You're on Bizarro world.
