You know that most of the time it isn’t Trump doing the actual choosing, not with his short attention span and his aversion to work and any sort of research or deep attention to detail (Trumppy is the ‘overall’—big picture theorist—“Too many immigrants in this country….etc.”)). His choices for judges have come from some right wing conservative outfit (I forget their name at the moment). Still, you wonder….how much do the Bannons, et all, of this administration, influence who gets into positions of power….considering that loyalty to the Dear Leader is always first and foremost while ideology beyond Trumpism is not necessary.

Nor does he want that sort of person around him. Trump wants sleaze bags and social climbers around him. Those are the kind of people he has interacted with his entire adult life. Those are the kind of people he understands, and he will thus be in a position to dominate them since he knows their greed so well. In Trump’s world there are no good people and bad people, there are only winners and losers (him being the greatest winner among them all—the man with the most, the greatest, the biggest pile).
