Also good to see you here my friend.
Hey, Cap….always good to be talking’ at you. Just trying to put my thoughts in order after that OSU defeat. I guess it’s just the way it goes sometimes. Bucks had their chances for a win. It wasn’t like that 31-0 debacle. Clemson made the plays when they really needed to and OSU did not. Still, that targeting call and the fumble that turned out to be a not fumble after the replay people got through with it sticks in the craw. Those plays were not the complete difference makers but they sure didn’t help. OSU makes one more first down before they punted Clemson down to the 10 yard line and the game is probably over because Clemson never sees the ball again. Yet you have to give credit where credit is due. Clemson marches right down the field with 3 minutes or less left in the game??? Uh—calling the OSU defense….make a stop and it’s on to New Orleans. Just goes to show how difficult it really is to win that National Championship. Clemson played like a steady, veteran outfit and found the ways to win when they needed to and OSU just couldn’t get over that second to last hurdle (Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin—twice!).

Ward got targeting because he lowered his head into contact. The right call, a stupid play that was more dangerous to himself than Lawrence
Lawerence is like 6’5”-6’6” and close to 250lbs. If he wants to run the ball then he takes the risks that running backs take every time they touch the ball. Besides, this targeting call is one of the biggest pieces of horseshit that they have come up with in many a year. A couple of guys in the replay booth are supposed to discern just exactly what a players intentions were when he moved his head a couple of inches up or down or left to right during a tackle? This is still football, right? Occasionally, it is evident that a person is taking a shot at an unprotected mans head. In that case they should march off a 15 yard penalty. But this bit about throwing a guy out out of the game, merely on the subjective opinion of the people in the replay booth sucks. They have already killed the kickoff as an exciting play in college football, now they want to turn hard hitting into a major foul? Well, I guess there is always flag football.

Your perverse denial of ZeroState's tradition of dirty play is what is astonishing.
Did you know Ohio State was involved in the Kennedy killing? (Just John, not Bobby). No, it's true. You see JFK was an Ivey League kind of a guy, whereas OSU was keeping Harvard out of the No. 1 spot.....

Well, yes he needs Jesus in his life obvi.
Well, he had better have a word with the complete Trinity before he goes up against LSU.

FORGET ABOUT BOLTON.....
Don’t expect anything out of Bolten, even if he does decide to appear. While there is probably no doubt that he would very much enjoy slitting Trump’s throat, he would have to figure a way to do it without cutting his own throat as regards his future employment. Now, while his book deal and speaking engagements should take care of his future financial requirements, he will never work again if it is perceived that he took an active part in bringing down a right-wing conservative administration, even one as messed up as the Trump administration. Those people on the Right have long memories, and I think that having someone to take his policy theories seriously might be even more important to Bolton than financial considerations.

CONNIE IS 'CONCERNED'.....
Former Secretary Of State Condoleezza Rice Concerned By Shadow Diplomacy On Ukraine
Yeah….on this subject the ‘brilliant’ Condo Rice is ‘concerned’…. Yet never a word (that I’ve ever heard, anyway) about her highly questionable ’contributions’ to ‘W’s’ ginned up war in Iraq. Still, I guess we should be somewhat grateful whenever she says anything at all negative about Republithugs.

Wow.  Kid takes great pride in not arguing here.  And then proceeds to make the most idiotic arguments this side of the White House.  Great work.
In other words, your typical Trump supporter. You might as well kick yourself in the nuts as waste your time arguing with them.

DUMB & DUMBER……
So…..The second dumbest individual in the Trump administration (Trump himself) wants to set up the dumbest (Rick Perry) to take the fall for the Ukrainian disaster. Tremendous……Perfect. You couldn’t hire writers to create a comedy script as dumb as this.

"Christians”…….
Too right, Josh. Every time someone starts to get their shizzel on as a holler-than-thou, right-wing do-gooder some sad-sac sticks his nose in with some of those completely inappropriate Christ-isms……”Turn the other cheek……Do unto others as you would have them do unto you……feed the poor and the hungry….., etc., etc., etc.” Bah!  Can’t we do without those weak-kneed, out-dated ideas yet still be counted as Christians? Isn’t there a religion that has no use for flaccid, watery, shit like that? Scientology?

WELCOME, North Korea!
It looks as if yesterday was the unofficial (Official) welcome of North Korea into the World Nuclear Club. From here on out I think you’re going to hear less and less about a nuclear-free Korean peninsula and more and more how the U.S. will be cutting back or eliminating sanctions on N.K. (as Trumpy and his minions continue to try to pretend that the U.S. is getting something out of this). And of course the whole thing was handled in the usual Trump ham-handed manner…..Trump looked like an over-stuffed used car salesman (a role for which his hair style was perfect), trying to interest a reluctant Lil’ Kim into buying the ’89 Buick as he glad-handed and back-patted him around the lot.
But, looked at from a certain point of view this whole thing was a win-win-win for all of the principals. Kim gets everything he could of ever wanted (and all he has to do is to continue writing sappy letters to Trump—an odious burden, no doubt). Trump gets to continue to pretend that he has a coherent foreign policy, and some sort of skill as a negotiator (which of course he doesn’t have a trace of), while the rest of us here in the U.S. can finally stop pretending that we give a fuck about anything that happens in a shit-hole like North Korea.

Red got a tax cut...
Heh….yeah, but how far does $24 go? Red needs to make some contacts…..Maybe he could arrange to star in one of those TV commercials that Republithugs put out in the past to try and get the tax measure passed (the kind where a ‘fictional’ couple are talking about the $2000 tax break they are about to get)….only in Red’s commercial he and his wife go into a supermarket to spend their tax break money and they are able to purchase one steak…..each.

As for Biden... he's made all sorts of claims of what his prior position was.
Just prior to his entering the race there was much talk as to wether Joe was yesterday’s news….people wondering if he was going to be in touch with the newer, more leftist positions of some of the Democratic hopefuls. So what does Joe the Bonehead do, right out of the box? Gets himself embroiled in some useless argument about his co-operation with segregationist senators from some 30 or 40 years ago. Smart, Joe. You could not have dug yourself a swampier hole if you had dug it yourself. Wait a minute, you did dig it yourself! Nobody wanted to hear about how cozy you were with some chicken-eaten’, finger lickin’ good ole boys from way back. What they wanted to hear about was how you were going to get rid of the Big Mac eating orange blob currently camped in the Oval Office. That is priority one. Personally, I am glad Harris torched him in the debates the other day. I think Joe is like an old ballplayer who’s mind tells him he could still play but whose body tells him something different. The sooner he eases into retirement and allows one of the more energetic Dems to come forward the better.
