According to Adam Schefter

"Ben Roethlisberger privately has told former teammates and some within the organization that he expects this to be his final season playing quarterback for the Steelers, league sources told ESPN."

Seem a little ambiguous, whether the Steelers want him or whether Ben wants to QB for another team.

Adam Schefter should be unemployed:

So a dung beetle walks into a bar and asks

Is this stool free?

A drunk walks up to a parking meter, puts a dime in and days, "Gee, I lost a 100 pounds!"

3 conspiracy theorists walk into a bar. Coincidence? I think not!

Oh, those polls!

57% of voters do not  believe the federal government should have the power to make vaccination mandatory,

Only 35% do.

Rasmussen
12/4/2021

75% of Americans believe that abortion should be accessible to women.

Keep that poll in mind, dipshit.

Sadly the gun, the ammo are too readily available, the parents are irresponsible cretins and the kid needed help, but did not get it.

Had the school called authorities, he may have.  And we would have had no shooting.

Look for opinions like this from others in the coming days

Not an either/or situation here.  School should not have allowed boy back in classroom after the note was found.  Parents should have taken him home or to a mental health facility, and not left a firearm unlocked, or purchased one in the first place for a boy clearly showing signs of disturbed thoughts.   This incident is a jaw dropping cluster of ignored red flags, combined with a culture that portrays gun violence as how heroic men of action resolve conflicts.

School acts as a SAFEGUARD vs poor parental behavior - as when a child has marks on them from abuse.  MUST be reported to authorities.

  Don't lose focus, Kid.

Here's a safeguard.

You purchase a gun, but you can't have it for 10 days. You get the gun, but you can't have ammo for it for 10 more days. Such a cooling off period would save a lot of lives, and give time for other "marks" (the mentally ill kind) to reveal themselves.

Why would I disagree?

Not saying you would. Just keep the focus on the access to guns by mentally ill.

I am guessing that kid would be opposed to employers drug-testing their employees, too. I mean, if he wishes to be consistent with his thinking about Biden's policies.

I have no clear sense of kids position on this.  But yes, one could ask would require drug tests of transit workers be the government quote taking away unquote transit staff?

I'm sorry, but could you rephrase?

If President Biden is taking away some of teh Florida guardsmen, DeSantis is simply replacing the manpower.  That they would be under greater control is a bonus.

Incorrect. Biden is taking away no one.

Of course he is

Its OK - problem solved for now

He is not.   Someone refusing a basic public health requirement for their job is taking themself out of the Guard.   Just as I would be rejecting my own employment in a hospital, were I to refuse to vaccinate.  People are accountable for their decisions.  It is in no ones interest to have an unvaccinated member of an emergency team, and we need a National Guard that makes sure its members act responsibly.   Why does someone have to duck this reality for a partisan political movement?  Really think this over.

I am guessing that kid would be opposed to employers drug-testing their employees, too. I mean, if he wishes to be consistent with his thinking about Biden's policies.

I expect that there will be many who express such a limited view of this particular school shooting.

The school didn't have to call the authorities. There was a cop on campus. Although it is a contributing factor, at least on the surface, that's a diversion from the real issue.

That a gun is bought and the ammo for it is purchased immediately following is what created a circumstance in which the power to act with the gun was delivered into the hands of an obviously mentally ill family.

The school shares culpability, yes, but don't make them the focus. The killer is the killer because of the ready access to weaponry and the ammunition, and because we live in a society that ignores its own responsibility to provide mental health care to those who need it.

Sadly, the school is culpable

It is very, very doubtful that this kid just recently started showing signs of being disturbed.

This is among the reasons why you're such a fucking loser, why your wife left, why your daughter merely tolerates you, and you spend each night alone.

Stick to "fucking loser."

Cut the rest of your shit.

Not because it is true or not true, but because it pretends to knowledge.

You want to insult him, insult him. Leave family out of it.

Sure, I'll leave them out. They left him out, seems fair.

Nice to see you playing guard dog, again.

Shame you don't hold him to the same standards.

Allegedly, this is a "progressive town" in NJ: https://www.montclairlocal.news/2021/12/01/montclair-township-attorney-resigns-apologizes-for-calling-black-official-three-fifths-of-a-human/

Well, he did not call him a chimp, so there is that.

You earned that. He maybe earned worse than the got, too, but you'd have to ask someone from the town.

If you thought you were making a racist wise crack you do realize Chimpanzees have white skin, right, Cheetah?

You should try Noom. It'll help you get that blood sugar thing under control, Bonzo.
