Meanwhile, in news that really matters but is undermined by the distraction of an overhyped athlete who can't pack her suitcase properly, lawyer Cippolone is about to get his balls put in a vise, and that ain't going to end well for Trump.

Be best!

We could trade him for Britney.  I'm sure he'd find the elections in Russia more legit and free of oddities.

What the hell is taking so damn long with the Griner detention?  Jeez.
She refused to listen to our National Anthem for years.
Let her meditate a while to Tchaikovsky.

It was in 2020.

She was protesting the injustice of Breonna Taylor being killed by police and no being to account for that murder.

Yesterday the DOJ charged the involved officers for civil rights violations.

Meanwhile she was taken right before Russia invaded Ukraine and she is being held as leverage .

All these so called patriots yelling to let her rot or get used to Tchaikovsky are falling in with RUSSIA who is compiling a heinous list of war crimes in Ukraine and Syria.

Folks like Black athletes only as long as they do nothing but entertain.

Your last sentence destroyed a good post, because it doesn't follow from the preceding sentences.

Plus, it's a gross generalization.

"We are willing to mix with one another, but we do not want to become peoples of mixed race."
~Viktor Orban, July 23, 2022.

This is the man that CPAC had speaking yesterday.

Any questions about who the so-called conservatives in America really mean to be?

Too late, Vik. Check it out: The ancient Hungarians came from the Ural region in today's central Russia, traveled across the Eastern European steppe, and conquered the Carpathian Basin 895. Then they admixed with the indigenous community.

So, you already lost the racial purity argument, dumbass.

Republican cancel culture validating the stand she took. Priceless.

What "stand" did she take? She represents the people who can't pack their own suitcase?

We added over.500,000 new jobs last month,.and the unemployment rate is down to 3.5%. The strong economic recovery under Biden continues, to the discomfiture of people like kiid and RedDickJimm who have been rooting for a recession.

Wages, grew, too.

Jobs growth and wage growth soared in July. Republicans will deny it!

Unemployment rate matches pre-pandemic level, at 3.5%. (50 year low).

Shut up and keep working.

Among the takeaways for black women in the Breonna Taylor case? Choose well when it comes to boyfriends. If she had, she'd likely be alive today.

Not my takeaway because I don't see what business it is of yours or society generally who someone chooses for a boyfriend.  Their life should not depend on that, if cops obey the law and act professionally to serve and protect the public.

Life is about making choices. She made a bad one. You just did, too.

Louisville detectives? Maybe follow the Constitution and that'll keep you out of jail, dummies.

Wow.

You just blamed a woman killed by police while sleeping in her home for her own murder.

The fact she had kicked her old boyfriend to the curb means nothing, right?

Nor the fact the KY AG literally threw the case from beginning to end.

No, I just said that she made a fatal choice when she got involved with an idiot who decided to shoot at the Louisville police. Which is a fact.

If you want to argue against facts, well, then have fun.

Thor got his first win in a Philly uniform, last night. If you believe in omens, then it was no coincidence that thunder and lightning shortened the game to a 4 1/2 inning win over the Nats, with Hoskins and Bohm leading the way, and Castellanos saving it with a putout and throw to home to cut down the tying run.

The God of Thunder chatted it up with the Gods of Baseball and the Phightin's came away with their 34th win against 19 losses since Joey G was shown the door. Rob Thomson has this club playing at a .640 win clip, and that's with Harper sidelined.

But fear is at the root of many a Phillies phanatic, and I heard one lifer say, "Yeah, watch them lose it during the last series of the year, when they have to play the Astros, who are fighting for that best record in the AL vs the Yanks."

Some folks can't enjoy the ride.

But for me, this has been one of the more entertaining seasons to observe. And it's great knowing that Thomson (Son of Canada) could go across the street and maybe help coach the Flyers, too, because they really need it!!!
