Football / Re: NFL

One of the excerpts released detailed how Brady was upset with Robert Kraft when Kraft announced the Patriots wouldn’t pursue legal action against the NFL for its handling of Deflategate. Brady didn't know Kraft would be making that announcement at the owners meetings and found out watching on TV.

“What the [expletive]?” Brady said over the phone to NFLPA head DeMaurice Smith. “Why am I not getting the support I deserve on this thing?”

Brady was very upset with Kraft and Sherman explained how Kraft has needed to rebuild his relationship with the quarterback in recent years, which he connected to the trade of Jimmy Garoppolo.

It was reported Kraft made it clear Brady could not be traded and therefore Garoppolo needed to get dealt as he wasn't going to be on the roster after the 2017 season.

“He was pissed off, obviously," Sherman said of Brady when hearing Kraft would be giving up the fight. "Kraft has supported him. He couldn’t support him there, but the Kraft family has gone above and beyond over the past couple of years to rebuild that relationship. I think that was part of the reason why Jimmy Garoppolo was jettisoned last year. That was something Kraft felt like he had to do to continue to build that relationship with Brady."

And that's why a) Brady's a prima dona; b)Kraft is an idiot; c) BB has to deal with these two lovers and their Machavellian horsecrap while he tries to run a football team.

SAD.

The movie should be quite entertaining.

Ye old 'bambu' is now 'bambu-wisdom'.

Akin to the term "military intelligence".

I love a good oxymoron. Other morons, not so much.

People in Californa have never shown any particular inclination to get out of their cars. High-speed rail seems an expensive gamble.

BOONDOGGLE!!!!!

Trump wants more tax cuts for the rich.

If the Dems can't figure out how to run against the GOP with this kind of fodder readily available, they should get out of the business of politics.

It's a big F. U.  to America, from the Trump Administration.

America has never not been great.  Though Trump is an embarrassment to our greatness.

FIRST!

So...you were okay with slavery? Jim Crow? Chinese Immigration Act? The Reconstruction Era? Tom Yawkey?

No, America has always struggled to be great, but at its core, there was a striving by many to create a greater country. So, there are those Americans among us still engaged in making a greater country. But that group of Americans does not include members of the GOP, or their "leader".

Great game, last night. Nola is an ace, but the youngest team in MLB showed their inexperience and gave away the game. Speed bump.
