Real Clear also not yet showing the CNN poll which puts Biden up 51-43

No, but when they do it will bring it to exactly 7.2 instead of rounded up to it.

Factor in the polls dated 9/1 and you get your answer.

not quite, no - but I'll figure it out.

I'm less convinced of that than I used to be.

Dow finished over 29,000 today, just .06% off its record high in September.

Lagging NASDAQ and the S&P which have been at records for a while.

They lag because they only have one of the big 3 tech stocks - and with the split from Google, that change won't weigh as much. This is why they did a remix of their 30 stock blend.

It's also why the articles say Wall Street expects Biden to win.

And it's why we discuss the fact that the Dow et al are disconnected from the economy, now at least.

Asked and answered by the last two polls, but perhaps you have decided to ignore this SN, too.

Kid, they list the polls they are including. Add them up. Then eliminate what you need to, add in the most recent YouGov poll before it and divide.

This is what I've wanted the franchise to try for about 40 years.   Unfortunately, not interested in buying another streaming service.

I'll let you know what I think.

Meanwhile, you might try reading John Scalzi's Redshirts, which doesn't just go for "adult" humor by any means.

PAID?
The Fox article you cite ends by saying there is no evidence of anyone being paid to protest:

Quote
A number of high-profile people on the right have lobbed accusations that the rioters may be funded by an outside party.

But authorities, to this point, have been unable to pin down any central organization or funding source that's connected to the rioters they've arrested, leaving open the question of whether the riots are actually being funded and planned centrally or if they are more organic.

"We can't connect ... any protester to a single group or funder or organization. Though I don't think it would be a big leap to say the type of organization and resources they're bringing to bear are organized and funded," Mayor Bowser said Monday.

In perhaps the most high-profile piece of speculation, President Trump on Monday night in an interview with "The Ingraham Angle" claimed that he'd spoken to someone who was on a "plane from a certain city this weekend and in the plane, it was almost completely loaded with thugs wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms with gear" who planned "to do big damage," seemingly implying that organized rioters are flying from city to city.

Sorry - I refuse to believe folks are traveling on their own dime.

And THAT is your evidence of anything.

Just amazing. Just typical.

Did you look at the twitter link I posted, Kid?

Kid doesn't care.

He's sure they are and Trump says they are and that is all he needs.

Yep - traveling long distances - and being paid.

Sad.

Love your "evidence," Kid. And you don't trust the NYT. It is to laugh.

A little help here?

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/us/general_election_trump_vs_biden-6247.html#polls

How do they arrive at the 7.2 (top) number?

Earlier in the day it was 6.3.

Thanks.

Economist/YouGov   8/30 - 9/1   1207 RV   3.6   51   40   Biden +11
IBD/TIPP   8/29 - 9/1   1033 RV   --   49   41   Biden +8

Those two weren't in yet.

The first is a 2 point bump from their last of 9. The latter is fresh.

In today's episode of "just a few apples," we get the sequel to the additional charges against the former head of the Boston Police Union of 4 more rapes of children:

Good thing it's just a few bad apples or imagine how many cops would be getting arrested!

Yes, Georgia illegally ditched 200,000 people from the voter rolls.

So surprised.
