Knicks best player does not play overtimes

I missed the game. Beasley didn't play in the overtimes?

I did see a single "highlight." The Markanen slam on Kantner. McBuckets should be flat out waived for his "defense" on that one. You can see Kantner staring at him after the play like "WTF?"

Certainly a fun game.
Jack played great until a late costly unnecessary turnover.

Bees was killing CHI, then NY stopped going to him.  Then CHI put Nwaba on Bees.  Nwaba is a tough mofo.  That was a terrific block he had on Bees.

KZ was getting huffed out there, but still came up with a few big plays (blocks, a dunk to force 2OT, a 3) -- but missed badly on a midrange banker with Dunn on him.  Up and down game for KZ.

Dunn shot terribly, but made a big running banker.
Had lots of steals.
The MSG replay mostly excised the 2Q & 3Q.
But Courtly was invisible in the 4Q and 2 OT's.
Got outplayed by Valentine.
Fropez had a strong game.

So the Bulls are just a hair better than NYK . . .

FWIW, my favorite players:
KZ, Dray Green, Beal, Manu, Jack, Brogdon, Butler, Myles Turner, DeMarre

I like to hear people's fave players. Here are mine (I would be thrilled if NY got any of these guys), with the following rules:

- no Knicks or ex-Knicks (I like almost all the Knicks!)
- no all-stars (not really interesting if I tell everyone I like watching Lebron and Curry)

The guys I always try to watch on League Pass:
- MKG
- Nance
- Milos
- Jabari
- Delon
- Van Vleet
- Jaylen Brown
- Smart
- Gary Harris
- Bam
- Conley
- Sweet Lou
- Richaun Holmes
- Oubre
- Jamal Murray
- Bill Stein
- Trey Lyles
- For end of bench: Briante Weber, Buycks, Iwundu, Boban

I also have guys I like to watch: Pa Bev, Middleton, RicHolmes, Liggins, Tim Frazier, A Very Bradley, DeJounte Murray, Rozier, etc.
For the most part defenders, it appears.

And guys I try to keep an eye on: Stan Johnson ... I'd have to think a bit to make such a list.

second guessing is easy but if philly had not made the deal to trade up they would have likely drafted  Tatum and kept their #1 pick that was included.  instead they got a head case.

Cavs need size IMO.  Love is simply not a 5.

i wonder if they would consider a deal with NY.

Noah  for Frye and Shump.

money works.  noah has looked decent and all the Cavs need is defense and rebounding for 15 minutes per game.

we save long term money.

If Philly had not been snookered into trading the #3 and the '19 LA pick (etal), Ainge would have drafted the guy he liked at #1, Tatum. And Philly would have gotten the guy they wanted at #3, Fultz.

I don't know what's going on with Fultz and his shooting mechanics, or his yips, or rehab, or...

Cavs need to get younger and faster.

I think Celts would have taken BALL - and held him hostage for 15 minutes before Lakers gave them something with Tatum.

Doubtful as Philly had the LA asset, the Lakers '19 #1 the Celts wanted for trading down to 3. No need to dick around with the Magic or the Balls.
