Without the contraction I would like us to look into adding Javale McGee if he is healthy enough to begin a season. Keeping an eye on pivots getting waived and hopefully bringing Skapintsev to camp at least for a look would also warm my heart.

I suspect Leon is going to keep the 15th roster spot.open in the event some opportunities avail.themselves on the waiver wire.

If, for instance, the Knicks were to pursue Robert Williams, just match his 12-13 million salary would cost us McBride, Sims and Bates-Diop.

Capella and Lopez both have 20 million salaries.  Both are UFA's next summer.

I like McGee, but doubt he has much of anything left in the tank, or some other team would've snarled him up akready...

Robinson
Achuwa
Sims
Hokpurti

We will surely miss the Hartenstein chemistry.

But to let the likes of Ainge strongarm us?

We sign Landry Shamet to the final roster spot, a move that does not inspire confidence.

Late add. It is non-guaranteed till January. As a make good, I feel better about it.

One more viable big man please, Leon.

Last season the back.of the bench was DeQuan.Jeffries, Charlie Brown and Jakob Toppin

Now it's Shamat, Payne and Bates-Diop.

Notice a difference?

Suns reunion.

I do like KBD.

Rumor has it Shamet plays D. I do not remember seeing it.

D?

Neither do I

But I remember him as an unconscious three point sniper, lighting us up from three as a Sixer.

Robinson, Sims
Achuwa
Randle
Bates-Diop

Do believe Thibs is going to commit to significant small ball time.

Marcus Morris

Exhibit 9 contract

Morris will compete for the final spot with veteran guard Landry Shamet and former Magic forward Chuma Okeke, two other players who signed non-guaranteed contracts with the Knicks recently.

Roster construction around the league is getting very weird in this new CBA.
