And a third second rounder from the Wolves plus $7.2 million in cash.

Our new EuroStash Nnaji is a 6'11" 250 pound Nigerian, selected 31st in the 2023 Draft, playing in Spain.

Had a recent back surgery and has been sent down by Barcelona to division II. Still worth a look next summer.

I think the Knicks are  bringing 16 guys to Charleston.

We just inked TJ Warren. Good old head to have around. Played with Towns last year and Bridges and Shamet in Phoenix prior to that. Can still get a bucket.

Towns Sims Robinson
Precious Warren
OG Hart Dadiet
Bridges McBride Shamet
Brunson Payne Kolek

Hukporti Toppin McCullar

Dress Hukporti for the calander year while Mitch mends and we are off. Sims, Warren, Hart, Deuce and Payne makes for a fast athletic second unit with four serviceable scorers.

I like it.

Okeke is back in camp as well.

We might carry a full roster after all. Go figure.

I dig TJ, and remember one game where he lit us up.

If healthy, at 6'8", he checks a lot of boxes.

But has been decimated by injuries, which derailed his career.

Would be great if he could step up, and is worth a long look.  I'm rooting for him, but don't pencil TJ in quite yet.

Still, glad to have him in camp, if for nothing else, to compete with Pacome Dadiet

This controversy over starters is annoying. Precious gave us better scoring and rebounding in his minutes than Hart with comparably streaky shooting while also providing shot deterrence and physical presence. Hart had better counting stats because he got more run. Precious protects both Karl and OG from the most physical matchups the opponent offers.

KAT OG Hart Bridges Brunson is too cream puff for Thibs or me to start.

Hart Warren and McBride should be first three off the bench.

Lots and lots and lots of work to do.

Precious, Shamet, McBride, Kolek, and Brunson look closest to where we want them. Among the rest, KAT was not bad.

Other than that things might take a while to gel.

On further thought I like the balance between the starting and bench units.

Hart gets the start. He gives the unit some quickness it would otherwise miss.

I think the bench might be the strength of this team and will allow us to compete with deeper teams.

Sims, Precious, Shamet, Deuce and Kolek can provide pace, pressure and continuity for us.

Everyone else is situational.

It is looking like we will not keep Warren for financial reasons. I am bummed about it because I think he could really help us add a little size without losing any offensive pop.

If we upgrade Hukporti to hit the minimum roster number while keeping Shamet we stay under the second apron. Warren and Shamet put us over.
