2018 - NBA Draft LOTTERY

I don't think there's much use talking about who we would pick when we don't know where we will pick yet.

98.3% chance at 9.  so you could take a wild guess.

Miami may be ready to just dump Whiteside after a season of injuries and clashes with coach Spo over playing time.

He played 15 minutes per game in the playoffs and did nothing but look miserable.

Making $25 mil next year and the year after, give him a change of scenery here, have Miami take our mistakes Noah and Lance and give them a 2nd rd pick as the cherry on top.

We're not out here giving #1 picks for Andrea Bargnani... but swapping bad contracts for Whiteside is my kind of gamble.

--

If the Spurs are moving on from Tony Parker, give the frenchman the "Veteran PG Mentor" contract (pass on the Sessions of the world) to nurture OUR French PG of the Future.  What a novel concept...  focus on developing our most recent lottery selection.... did y'all SEE what JRUE Holiday just did?

MIA already has a lot of Lance types.
They could use shooting.
How about if they counter with Whiteside and Dion Waiters for Courtly and Noah?  Not sure either team does it.
That would be a good trade to throw in Willy as a sweetener, if needed, and uh if we still had him.  Another idea would be trade Kanter for Whiteside.
Whiteside seems to have attitude issues, and gets mopey.
Is there any point in adding Whiteside without moving Kanter (either traded or opted out).  Does it make sense to take on both of MIA's headcases?

The Bricabrackers would draft Mikal Bridges.
And then have:
Burke/Franc/Muddy
Tim Jr./Waiters
Bridges/Lance
[KZ]/ KOQ/Beaswax?
Whiteside/Kanter?

Ex-Knick Pablo Prigioni will join the Nets as an assistant coach to Kenny Atkinson, the club announced.

I guess we're still looking to add a head coach.
I would have liked PiG on our bench.  Smart positive presence.

I would expect Parker back with SA if his leg feels good.  His mobility was kind of iffy.  And if he wants to jump ship, no idea why he'd choose NYK unless we maybe we offered him the starting job.
can't really think of a good playoff team for him to go to.  Maybe Wiz, since they don't trust/use Tim Frazier.  Problem with an aging slowish Pony T is that he doesn't have a good outside shot, never a big setup man, and if he can't get to the rack much, he's only a smallish midrange shooter who can't defend much.

I figure Manu will retire.
And Pony Poindexter will seriously consider that as well.

Interesting move by Stevens starting largely untested rookie, Ojeley to neutralize/guard Giannis. And it seemed to work and GF was largely kept away from this driving high % shots. Glad he can't shoot the 3 (yet).

Celts went small, and Smart (he's a demon-the guy makes plays) and it was a physical chippy game.

6 should be another physical game but as predicted this series seems to have a "7" stamped on it.

I hope you're right. But so far home court seems to be working.
