KP and O'Quinn are our best frontcourt tandem at the moment.

Willy should be next up.

It is impossible to play Kanter to the point where he becomes tradable or starts to justify his contract in any way. It is also impossible to play Kanter and also perform well as a team against decent NBA competition. He's not wired for this game. I'll be happy if he proves me wrong.

That we couldn't get on a page and play smoothly with essentially a brand new lineup especially in the backcourt isn't a surprise. That key guys were out there gassed at certain points is worrying both in terms of the conditionof the players and the staff's a awareness of these declines as they are happening.

Best interest of the team is always to win games.

This is a team built to tank. Top 3 in the draft next two years and you may have something. Many good bigs in 2018.

I agree fully with this post.

Detroit has a guard in Bradley nearly as disruptive as Westbrook. Harris will probably also give us fits.

Mavericks rookie point guard Dennis Smith Jr. was a late scratch for Friday’s game against the Sacramento Kings due to left knee effusion, a buildup of fluid in the knee. The Mavs have not made a determination on Smith’s status for Saturday’s road game against the Houston Rockets.

Smith tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in August 2015, the summer before his senior year of high school. He experienced swelling in the knee after shootaround Friday, and the decision was made to not start him less than an hour before the game. –  via ESPN

Celts and Pistons with nice comebacks tonight

C's may have been Embid-minutes-aided.  Have to check.

Nahhhh....looks like Embid ineffectiveness (3-14)

Shaq jinxed him- finally agreeing with Chuck that "your boy Embid can play"
