Rivers 33.3% on 3's.
Tucker and House over 45%.
My way seems more honest; less bs.
Cam Reddish off to an awful career shooting start.
1-18 on 3's.
21% FG.
And in the 5 games he played he got 20+ mins per (averaging 25).
I'm no draftnik, but when I heard Barrett was weak on 3's, iffy on D and a poor FT shooter, I was nervous. RJB has an unusual style. But for a rook, he plays at a very measured pace, is physical, and knows what he's doing. Poised and confident.
Terrific on the break.
The FT's have been bad, but that's easy to work on. His defense seems mostly fine from what I've seen. I certainly see more defensive mistakes from Randle, Portis and Knox. And RJB is a multi-position defender. A pleasant surprise on that end.
Jury out on his 3's. But his form looks pretty good. He made them early and has been missing lately. But also likely to have tired legs form so many minutes and so much running around.
Fizz sounded like an idiot saying Spree averaged over 40, so somehow that means Barrett can too. Spree was a durable guy who often was a league leader in minutes played. What that has to do with Barrett is anybody's guess. And times have changed. Teams much more aware of rest and load management and long term health over short term whatever.
On a deep team, going nowhere, playing your studly rook 35+ mins a night is stupid.
