Gee, my guess (in the Knix forum) that it was Kyrie's doing seems to have backup:
Quote
Irving soured on Atkinson early, league sources told Yahoo Sports, and currently prefers Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue to be the teamís next head coach. Lue was the head coach in Cleveland when Irving hit the winning shot in the 2016 NBA Finals and was in talks to take the Lakers job before discussions broke down.

Kyrie managed a 20 game season, was pouty, the Nets frequently played best without him, and he likely got his coach fired.  Terrific.

And BOS improved greatly without him.  Tatum and Jaylen's trajectory back on track.  Glad we aren't saddled with those two star gimps (KI & KD).

Lance Thomas got the start for the Netizens.
Didn't score in 10 minutes.
Tyler Johnson started too and also missed all his FG's and fouled x5, but got assists and boards.

I like leVert, guy plays hard, terrific in the open floor, puts pressure on the D.

I guess nets v. Wiz is as bad as it gets in the bubble.
