Jamal Crawford hit a game winner for Phoenix last month, his tenth career winner in the last 10 secs of a game. Five active players, all headed to Springfield, have hit more. I'll be shocked if anyone can name all five without getting one wrong, despite that hint.

lets go with

LeBron
KD
Harden
P. Gasol
Blake Griffin

Amazingly, these are all wrong. Some were good guesses, but none correct.

Where's our answer?

I guess I can try to look it up.

Okay i'll rank 'em while I wait:

Wade 19
Melo  15
Vince   14
LeBJ  11
Dirk 11
J Crossover 10

Four of five correct (and Lebron, I've already revealed, is the wrong answer). Somehow none in the right rank, however.

Care to take one last guess at the last pick? Hint: he has played with two of those on Bank's list.

Well, I mentioned Chris Paul with regard to Blake above.

So I got 2 of the 3 with more than 11.
I just had Wade way too high.

Not surprised Melo led the way.  He was great in the crunch for DEN, and must have had a few for the Knicks as well (my memory works better for general patterns than specifics these days).

Paul over Westbrook -- these are career based, so the greybeards have the advantage of longevity.  Plus Rustbrook had to share with Durant.  Westbrook also seems like the guy who ties the game to send it to overtime, more than the game winner type . . .

Yeah, both Melo and Vince are under-appreciated by the analytics types who can't measure how hard it is to conjure game winning shots in those situations, when percentages tend to tumble.

Thad Young recently said how much he hates getting the ball at the end of shot clocks, because he knows he can't make something happen. It's hard. Those are low percentage shots. There's a lot of value people don't get in a guy who can change a 20% opportunity into a 40% opportunity.

Strange DAL-LAC game.
CLips were ahead a little going into the 4Q.
Career high 32 for Doncic.
But he was on the bench when DAL took the lead early-mid 4Q, going with a Mejri/Kleber twin tower look.  Mej with 3 assists in 9 mins.  Barea running P'nR's.  Both Bigs crashing the boards.

Then Doncic and the starters come back and DAL blows the lead.
Doncic horribly clanks a step back 3, had another bad shot and a turnover during the Clips comeback.  But these didn't hurt that much as DeAndretheGiant got the O-rebound on both Doncic misses.

Then in the final 1'30" with DAL down 6 or so, Doncic hits a stepback 3 and gets a horrible Clip pass into traffic and goes end to end with Avery Bradley hounding him (and fouling him on the wrist on the layup, which the refs didn't see/call).  Doncic complained, rightly so.
Doncic's heroics were just a bit too late.

As I keep saying, there's a good deal of slop in his game, and he's erratic, but he does seem to pull it together in crunch time (this one was miss then hit).  Still an unquestionably talented player.  Fun to watch.  Got 13 FT's in this game.

Gallo played well (32 Pts) and hit a Big straight-on 3.
Montrezl was a beast.
LouWill another hero for LAC.

Fun game.  a 39-36 4Q.  (I didn't see too much else). Both teams were more scrappy than good.  But they both battled hard.
