Nor will Trump
Jordan may be called to testify, Kid, if he led one of those tours or he gets implicated by any of the invaders as having helped.
McCarthy is less likely to be called, but given his resistance to having a serious investigation, it would not be shocking.
It is certain that Trump will be called and equally certain Trump will resist to the best of his ability. Unfortunately for him, "Contempt of Congress" could be passed by the House. Seems unlikely that he would suffer any penalty, but if he ended up testifying, there is no telling what juicy things he might say!

I don't think any of us has the whole story.
I know, let's have a bipartisan committee like the 9-11 committee, with top folks from both parties and beyond! House propose it, Senate pass it, Biden sign it.
Oh, wait. The GOP stopped it for fear that it would instead be a Democratic show of GOP error, like what they tried to do with Benghazi.
So, let's have a bipartisan investigation with the most open-minded from both parties on it.
Oh, wait. McCarthy appointed two Trumpist sycophants and when they were excluded pretended he was offended and pulled the rest of his appointments, even though they were acceptable.
Anybody who thinks that if Pelosi had accepted them that McCarthy wouldn't have found some other reason to stomp off and claim it was her fault is demented!
