Jake Tapper (CNN) on Biden sending 5000 US Troops back to Afghanistan

“That is, of course, a sharp turn-around from six weeks ago when President Biden called it highly unlikely that the Taliban would overrun the country, an assessment that even at the time struck many experts in Biden’s own administration as unrealistic. And now, as American diplomats rush to shred embassy documents and escape, it seems shocking that President Biden could have been so wrong.

As noted on here earlier, in his views on US Foreign Policy over 40 some years Biden is always wrong.

The Taliban [Mujahideen] have taken the Presidential Palace in Kabul.
ScoMo is sending transport planes, and some special forces soldiers to evacuate any Aussies and their Afghan interpreters etc.

Yes, it was always going to end badly for the C.O.W....as they were way too nice...Geneva Convention.
"Please take a seat here Taliban fighters who just slaughtered half our regiment, would you like a cup of tea and a baked dinner?"
"Are the chairs comfortable for you, enough back support"?

Taliban did what it liked, but Aussie troops were not allowed to kick Taliban spotters with radios off cliffs. (If they did)...war crimes, lol
What a joke. No pigs blood allowed either.
Taliban weren't scared, there was nothing to be afraid of.
Taliban won.
Armed insurgents are wandering the streets of Kabul now, they've closed the airport, the President has fled the country..
Supposed to be a peaceful transition of power now.

Seems like the Holy Crusades MK2...Richard the Lionheart into the Muslim world.
Same result basically.

UC Irvine Health

3 hours  ·

With #Latinos representing a majority — six in 10 — UCI Medical Center patients hospitalized with #COVID19 during the early months of the pandemic, UCI School of Medicine researchers began reaching out to community partners to provide crucial information about the disease and treatment options, Frank Zalidivar, PhD, told the Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).They contacted Latino community residents they already work with in neighboring #SantaAna to explain clinical trials and other treatment options, and more recently delivered vaccines, said Zalidvar, a medical scientist who leads outreach efforts for the Department of Pediatrics’ Pediatric Exercise Genomics Research Center. “Building trust within the community has been the cornerstone of our efforts,” he said.

Some people are saying that areas of color are not getting the best treatment, but Orange County is a majority Latino and we have the best medical care in the world. UC Irvine is fantastic.

The people of Afghanistan need to stand up and fight to protect themselves. We need to make sure they have the best weapons and equipment, and then we need to turn the safety of the people of Afghanistan over to the people themselves.

And we need to alleviate the extreme poverty in Afghanistan. We need to send them ships full of cotton seeds, and ships full of sheep, and ships full of farming equipment, etc. We need to help them to create a peace-time economy.

Also, we can have an auxiliary army, like the French Foreign Legion, go in and help the people of Afghanistan; Mexicans, and Colombians, and people from the Philippines, and others, can join the French Foreign Legion and they can serve in Afghanistan.

Schools, and education are also high on the list of priorities in Afghanistan. We can also teach the adults how to be farmers, etc. Some other ideas are Catholic hospitals, Catholic schools, and Catholic orphanages, along with freedom of religion and Catholic churches.

Solar power and wind power can also happen in Afghanistan, they can go green.

We must not let the high cost and sacrifice in Afghanistan by Americans be inconsequential. We made a difference, and we can make a lasting difference. No life was lost in vain.

It is so sad, but we must not give up, we can enter a new phase, and we can make a lasting change for the better in Afghanistan.

Salute,

Tony V.

Tried all that...nation-building...but when push came to shove the Afghan govt and army just surrendered to the Taliban.
The people are fleeing too, not wanting to be captured by the primitives.
It was said by one man in a video "(Many of) the People are the Taliban."
Aghanistan now will be The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan...reportedly.
Many Muslims in the world, including in America, love Sharia/Islamic law, and love living under it, including in America today.
The Islamic Emirate of America ...many people would not be surprised.
Every time Americans show hate for their flag and hate for their anthem...and hate for (Christian) God Bless America...the said Islamic Emirate of America draws closer.

Has your state banned Sharia/Islamic law?
Most likely not, only a few have. Alabama reportedly the latest one to.

Maybe our Constitutional expert should field that question.

Sadly,  our state has neglected to ban Sharia law,  the code of Hammurabi,  the Jedi Code,  and Droit de seigneur.

Yes, the time is fast approaching when Americans will no longer be able to sit on the fence and stand in the middle of the road.
They're going to have to decide, firmly, with resolve just who each one of them is, and what exactly they stand for.
The choices are clear:

God Bless America, The National Anthem, and Flyover At The Tulane Vs Auburn Football Game!

The flag waving on the big screen of the open air stadium.

Or The Islamic Emirate of America run by Taliban-ilk.

Yes, one young Afghan woman about 18- 20 was shown on my tv. She said she was fearful of what might become of her now.
