"I think the President of the United States should come out and say all bets are off.  GThe Taliban has absolutely defied this agreement by not securing the access routes to the airport.  We are going to expand this operation.  And get every single American out.  And I'd start KILLING bad guys."

Mark Green (R) TN - House Armed Services Committee

Predictable.

And if that approach to dealing with the Taliban were effective, then we would have been out of Afghanistan a decade ago.

But instead, what that approach would do is see every American non-soldier there dead as well as a ton more of soldiers. Especially since we have now (again) armed the Taliban's forces. And k-ISIS, as well.

The Biden Foreign Policy does not exist.
It is a myth.

I do not agree with Biden's policy in Afghanistan.

One thing that I am grateful of is that we still have the CIA, so we know what is going on, and we know who the bad guys are.

A gentleman told me yesterday that we can handle Afghanistan the same way we handle Somalia. And I am sure everyone remembers Somalia and the movie "Black Hawk Down."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_%281993%29

We are still involved in Somalia, and the CIA knows what is going on in Somalia even if we do not officially have a base there, etc.

I had high hopes for Afghanistan. When we first went in they showed the children of Afghanistan on the news and I hoped the world would become a better place for the children in Afghanistan.

I do not agree with Biden's policy in Afghanistan, and time is not an issue for me.

We must have people in the world who do not want to see the Taliban return to power who can help to stop the Taliban.

But meanwhile, I am grateful for the CIA, and we need to continue to try to find ways to save Afghanistan from falling to the Taliban.

And can the Mormon church help? The Mormons are rich and powerful here in the USA, maybe the Mormons can help to stop the Taliban from returning to power in Afghanistan.

And we must get justice for the attacks that are happening right now. And we have weapons and supplies there, we need to go back in, we need to go back in with the United Nations, NATO, the French Foreign Legion, Spain, and others, and we need to get our supplies so they do not fall into enemy hands, and we need to help the people of Afghanistan to have a free and fair election to elect a new President and a new Government.

Salute,

Tony V.

Yes,  I'm sure a right-wing religious sect that likes women to be domestic will be really helpful stopping the Taliban.

Yes,  Trump was more generous with his words,  especially his rage-tweets from the crapper.    Joe,  annoyingly,  seems all caught up in working and getting briefings so as to be well-informed.   Pfft.  So pretentious.

Enough Psaki.  Enough vanilla mumbo-jumbo.

Sure looks like a complaint about Psaki to me.

Yes,  I'm sure a right-wing religious sect that likes women to be domestic will be really helpful stopping the Taliban.

When I worked at a casino in Nevada, the casino was owned and ran by Mormons. The Mormons are more liberal than you think, and the Mormons love horse racing, etc.

As we are looking for help in Afghanistan to stop the Taliban from returning to power I would for sure invite the Mormons to help. The Mormons are welcome to help.

Salute,

Tony V.

Creative writing: But how does someone, especially someone who's white, start (or continue) a conversation with family and friends about racism and privilege?

In order to help get you started, USA TODAY spoke with experts to create this guide on best practices and important things to remember when engaging in this type of work.

Of course, there is not a one-tactic-fits-all approach to having these difficult conversations.

As Jenna Arnold, author of "Raising Our Hands: How White Women Can Stop Avoiding Hard Conversations, Start Accepting Responsibility, and Find Our Place on the New Frontlines," told USA TODAY it's important to remember that these conversations are "a little bit case-by-case."

So instead of a step-by-step guide, we've compiled tips and strategies for different steps of the process, from before the conversation starts to after it ends.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2020/07/06/how-to-guide-talk-racism-white-privilege-with-family-friends/3278514001/

Clearly none of these steps have worked on you. I can see why you have doubts.

Your blatant hypocrisy is noted, once again.

You can agree or disagree with his comment, but there is no hypocrisy in it. He doesn't claim they are good steps or bad, nor that they have or worked on him, or that they don't apply to him.

The comments are purely about you.

Keep misinterpreting. it's what you do best, Josh.

The idiot who likes to call everyone a Nazi wants to lecture us on how to "respect" others. You and he can go fuck yourselves.
