My Grandmother who worked at McDonald's was very smart, and she taught me Business, but she was also compassionate, and she worked as a nurse at a Catholic hospital in San Bernardino for a time. She was a very good nurse, and she loved people, she worked long hours for low pay.
She taught me that money is a tool that can help people. Money can pay the rent, money can buy food, money can get you a home in the good part of town, etc. You can live in Malibu if you have money. And she taught me that the best way to do business was to be honest, and to be useful to your customers, give your customers the best that you can. And people are willing to pay for the best, and the higher quality product you provide then the more money you make. She was a Compassionate Christian Republican. She wanted low taxes, and wealth for all of the people who were willing to work an honest job. She picked fruit during the Great Depression, and she knew the value of money.
I support fair pay for the workers, and low taxes for the people.
The Government can raise tariffs on imports if we need to raise more money. We have more imports than ever, we can put higher tariffs on the imports, and we can use the money to help the homeless and to educate the children and for after school programs, etc.
