I lived in Cape Canaveral when I was 12 years old, I had a step dad who was a supervisor on the Space Shuttle, and it was heaven, I spent all of my time in the ocean, and in the pool, and it was like being on vacation the whole time, and the girls were hot, I was only 12 but I still appreciated the beauty of the women in Florida.
So, I went back when I was 21 years old. I was working at a casino in Battle Mountain, Nevada, as a cook, and it was cold in the winter, and Greyhound had a special deal, anywhere in the USA for $69. So, I went to Florida for $69 on Greyhound, it was great. I was able to see the whole country as we zig zagged across the nation. And the bus was full of great people. Americans are good people and Greyhound is a great way to get out meet people all over America.
I went to Orlando and tried to get a job, and the economy was bad then, it was in 1990. But I was able to see Jimmy Page live at a club on the beach in Cocoa Beach. Jimmy Page is amazing, he played the blues all night with the house band, The Groove Monsters.
I was unable to get a job in Florida, so I had to go back to Nevada and go back to work at the casino.
Florida is great, but is was hard to get a job there when I tried to relocate to Florida.
Florida is a great state, with beautiful women and great beaches, but it was hard to get a job there when I tried.
Salute,
