Filed under NOW THEY TELL US

From CDC director Rochelle Walensky

On Friday, the Good Morning America program touted research showing that Covid vaccines are highly effective in preventing severe illness and then asked the CDC director:
Given that, it is time to start rethinking how we are living with this virus, that it is probably here to stay?Dr. Walensky responded:
The overwhelming number of deaths, over 75%, occurred in people who had at least 4 comorbidities. So really these are people who were unwell to begin with and yes, really encouraging news in the context of Omicron.

And we learned from Dr. Walensky via her CDC website that close to 95% of death certificates listing Covid as a cause also mention other causes along with Covid and states:
For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death.
[/i]

As previously noted Dr. Wallensky admits the present vaccines do not stop the spread of the Omicron variant even for previously vaccinated people. Which, of course, is the opposite of what we expect of a vaccine.

This is a mess and the Biden Administration appears not to have a handle on how to convince the public
it knows what it is doing.

You are not the public, Red. You are an anti-American stateless asshole. This is evidenced by how you poison yourself and try to poison others. Please self-isolate until you get your fucktard nature more under control. Thanks

Many deaths from infection have comorbidities.  And people who have some immunity, due to vax plus booster, are more likely to recover from those other health problems and not be finished off by covid.  And even better odds when staff around them are immunized and boosted, because that reduces virus shedding and "viral load." Vax are doing exactly what they can be expected to do.  Assisted by T cells, which can help out when some omicron sneaks past the first line of defense.  And what helps maintain T cells?   Rhymes with Maxine, IIRC.

But, as the CDC finally admits, present vaccines  do not stop the spread of the Omicron variant.
So mandating an obsolete vaccine to prevent further infection is not only unconstitutional but ineffective in curtailing a pandemic.
There are many positive reasons to get the vaccine.
But forcing people to lose their jobs if they refuse is not one of them.

That does not mean the vaccine  is not without benefits and ought to be encouraged.

It is refreshing that the latest revelations from the CDC gives  credence to the 2020 Barrington Declaration which pointed out that the better response to Covid was to protect the vulnerable and let the healthy keep working.

For that it was condemned by Facebook, BusinessInsider, the WHO, and a litany of other leftists.

That was a stupid response.

Thank you for trying to express the theory you could not find facts to support.

On July Fourth, 2021 President Biden declared Two Hundred and forty-five years ago, we declared our independence from a distant king. Today, we,are closer than ever to declaring our independence from a deadly virus.

How did that turn out, Brandon?

Kid is still waiting for an Arnie Vinnick presidency.

Bartlett reaching out to  Vinnick.  A great moment.  And perfect example of what Joe would never do.

There's no Arnie Vinnick to reach out to.  Biden would if he could.  Bipartisan reaches were Bidens thing when he was a senator, but that seems to get forgotten.

DeSantis is actually sort of Arnie ish
