And why would Dems feel TEN Republicans would change their minds on the second bill if they dont fucking adjust it one bit?

Time ticks, the bills will be toast and all that is left is for your side to demonize Republicans (maybe that iss the grand plan) and roll the dice on the '22 elections

There were no circumstances they would change their mind, regardless. That is the point. There weren't 10 Repos for the Lewis bill.

Filibuster issues aside the dems had a losing hand since they had no conclusive backing from voters.

Hard to get conclusive backing from voters when they hit barriers getting to polls. 

As for 51-50 being undemocratic, why is that margin okay in STATES where slim GOP majorities gerrymander and pass laws to choke minorities voting?  Hmm?  NEVER heard Ward complain about that.  State legislatures do not require supermajority to enact law.
