The USA has had 1,605 infections per 100K people reported in the  last 7 days.
Israel, with a vaccination rate of nearly 98 percent, has had 3200 infections per 100k people in the same period.

Lowers the death rate.  In a country with thorough testing, infection rates from omicron breakthrough will be higher, but vaccine greatly reduces deaths and serious illness.  As Oil already explained.  May I suggest an ESL course, to boost your reading skills?

And no, I don't support Starfucks.  Vaccines need to be mandatory, just as they have been for a dozen other serious contagious diseases.  The conflict between public safety and FREEDUMB!!! is generally resolved by the duty to prevent serious harm and not swamp ERs and ICUs, just as with stop signs, red lights, seatbelts, indoor smoking bans, speed limits, and school vaccinations.

Advice YOU should take.
The CDC has already said   Surviving a previous infection  provided better protection than vaccination against Covid-19 during the Delta wave, citing research showing that both the shots and recovery  from the virus provided Better  protection. Doctors also said  the research also did not  apply to the current Omicron wave. It would  be like comparing apples  and oranges. (WSJ 1/20/22)

Vax boost the immune system and permits survival of those who wouldn't survive a natural infection.  I would favor the plan being advanced in places like Spain and UK, to declare the virus endemic, and treat it as such rather than as a crisis.  And that works best with vax AND natural immunity.
