One third of the people in California are foreign born immigrants, the number is around 11 million immigrants which is more than the entire population of Georgia and many other states. Many of these immigrants are coming to California out of desperation. And many new immigrants do not know our history, and they do not know what America stands for, it is up to us to teach them who Americans are and what we Americans stand for.
And as our demographics change then society changes.
Hollywood has some bad things happening, it was against the law to feed the homeless, they figured that if they did not feed you that you would just go away. They feed their own families and their own people, but if you are not a part of their people then you do not get fed. You cannot get hired, you cannot get food, you cannot buy a house, if you are not a part of their group then you starve, and then it is against the law to feed the homeless. It is all bullshit. There was a group named "Food Without Borders" who used to go in and feed the homeless people in Hollywood back when it was against the law to feed the homeless people there. We have people whose families have been in the USA for hundreds of years who are homeless, while new immigrants control things with their group and their Middle Eastern oil money or whatever. There are groups who help other people who are of their same ethnicity or whatever, but if you are an outsider then you starve. So we have 11 million immigrants in California who think they can just be selfish and allow the other people to be poor and homeless. We have 60.000 homeless people in Los Angeles alone, and they need to be helped. The first thing that we need to teach the new immigrants is that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL and we all have the same rights to jobs, and food, and shelter, etc.
My neighbors speak Spanish, and they never read the Constitution, they do manual labor and they drive trucks, etc. It is up to those of us who have been here for hundreds of years to teach them how to be Americans. And we need to respect our people and all people are created equal and all of our people should have food, shelter, healthcare, and an access to an education.
We need to build libraries and schools for the strawberry pickers, etc, they can read books and they can educate themselves. Some people only care about money, and they do not care about educating the farm workers, but if we want to have a good nation then we need to educate our farm workers, we need for them to all have access to libraries, and schools for the children.
One third of our people in California are immigrants, and we get to help to create their reality of what the USA is all about. Number one the USA needs to be all about loving your neighbors, and ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. Brotherhood for the good from sea to shining sea.
Salute,
