No argument, but the idea of a punk prefabricated band is sort of inconsistent with the punk aesthetic.
As with all rock. Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny. Every one sits and watches the money go round eventually.

The Wrecking Crew also played with The Byrds.  No Byrd other than McGuinn actually played an instrument on "Mr. Tambourine Man."

I saw a pretty good documentary on the Wrecking Crew, they basically were the house band for a lot of rock groups when it was recording time in LA.

My dad used to repeat that phrase to me when I was a kid. I think his point was to remind himself of the next issue I was going to get into trouble with.

And i'm pretty sure I haven't heard it in 50-55 years.

DAD!

It was about socially uncomfortable situation after socially uncomfortable situation.

Friends at least pretended to have a plot, but I didn't care for it, either.

Seinfeld had some good episodes, cosmically funny human condition stuff which,  at its best,  was Samuel Beckett on a small screen.   Friends was mostly insipid and the relationship stuff was recycled tedium.   The two shows are imho light-years apart.

Didn't watch Joe.   Ask me about the pleasures of competent government which doesn't require constant watching.   Saw summary this am.   Sounds like he's a unifier.   Nice change.

We used to look like little fish,  in utero.

Another phrase was used as a rationale for eugenics "politics is applied biology"

I liked Friends for maybe the 1st year or so, then, eh.

As an aside, and one you probably know, Joey Tribbiani was from "The Lake".

Last night, the other Joe slapped $1.9T on the table and the Repubs said, "we're out"

Joe was a nice combo of competence, compassion, caring and a shit-ton of cash.

I had the pleasure of meeting Louis CK,  and our Newton connection came up.   He and "Joey" attended Newton North together,  as I'm sure you know.   Louis's family had been down in Mexico,  so Boston was kind of a major tectonic shift for him.

Yes he does Larry.

But to see that vision realized he understands he has to win elections in '22 and '24 and not scare the voters with either visions he may have nor visions others may have.

I think Joe, even with old eyes, can still focus on what's in front of him.

we'll see.

In recent years,  I've had this rule burned into my brain:

The party in power never worries about the national debt.

That said,  this seems like money well spent.

The school play that year was probably pretty good.

I didn't know that much of LCK's history until a few years ago.

The only actor I "knew" from Newton was James Remar, (Ganz in 48 hrs, Ajax in The Warriors, and generally other bad guys)  who was the younger brother of a girl I knew at NHS.

Yeah.

He is fundamentally transforming the nation.

How do you win midterms in 2022?

You put forth legislation the nation wants and no republican voted for.
