I decided to hang my tinfoil hat on Stanley solely on them both being a William S.  But now looking at Florio I see quite a nice plateful of intertextual evidence. 

And another observation on authorship theories - they thrive on strong critcism from a scholar community.  What you really need is a Florio authorship scholar falling out of a high window.
