At this point, to support the Trump ticket is to engage in a ritual of self-defilement.

It has been more than twenty years since I have seen a republican face and not thought now there is someone who moisturizes with their own feces.

From a nightmare of an election between two unfit octos into what should be a bright victory for a progressive lady in her prime. Waiting with breathless anticipation for tonights interview. Poll numbers so far look very good. Bringing in a vet supporter as VP a big plus for me. Now I want to hear how Kamela has removed herself from the disastrous immigration policies of too old Santa Joe. Not that a convicted felon should ever be a viable option.

Trump is filling out his transition team with someone featured prominently on the terrorist watch list. This is very weird for a political campaign but totally normal for an anti American insurrection.

A bit of a disappointment. Played close to the vest. Little mention of the immigration issue.

Now we understand why Kamala quit the 2020 dem Primary.
Voters did not like her values.
But four years later, and as Vice President, she says those values remain the same.
While 2/3rds of the country say we are  headed in the wrong direction..

Oh look! Another Trump talking point regurgitated by Mr. I Am Not Voting for Trump!.

It is a good answer though. In American politics we tend to fethishize consistency over the ability to adapt one's policies when later events show a better, more feasible, more politically viable alternative. Instead of praising hobgoblin raddled minds, we should value politicians who are nimble minded enough to adapt to the circumstances. What should not change, or at least not change often, is the world view that animates those policy positions. If your view on immigration is forever bound to, say, a slogan you came up with while riding an escalator when later eventsshow that idea unworkable  you are probably not suitable to govern.

And equally lacking in any supporting survey data, just vague hand waving.  Also, a lame conflating of values and policy positions, the usual sort of cheap rhetorical gimmick.

Thumbs up to the rest of your post, with the verbal judo.

Santa Joe was the right choice to defeat the Donald, Kamala had a very limited national presence 4 years ago. She was the perfect pick as VP. A generation  removed from the fringe lefties that were in control; Bernie, Warren etc.

The thing really helping Harris pull ahead of trump so swiftly and decisively is that voters everywhere love her values.

How many weeks has it been since Red posted about the scoreboard?

Meanwhile Trump's idiotic and unpatriotic.use of Arlington National Cemetery for a political event just.gets uglier and uglier. He throws.Gold Star.families (who support him) under the bus and calls those who tend the hollowed Garden of Stone "bad people".
