War, what is it good for?

Taking over countries.
Stopping terrorists.

Will the Supreme Court grant trump work release to attend the republican national convention?

Twas a joke.   Kid was equating me to a Seinfeld character,  who was known for telling some author meeting with her publishing company that "War,  what is it good for?" was the original title of "War and Peace."   One of Elaine's most memorable moments on the show.

Bambu, you should read the Snopes article you posted and took quotes from.

Carefully.

I did.
Then removed it, deleted the post.

Thank you.

Jim Jordan isn't running for Portman's senate seat in 2022.

Trump got blamed for all the Covid horror in America...unfairly.
It was difficult to negotiate...which way to turn?   what to do?

'Difficult' to see truth coming out of WHO COVID-19 investigation in Wuhan

New York Post Columnist Miranda Devine says it is “difficult” to see anything truthful coming out of the WHO investigation in Wuhan since the organisation is “fairly compromised” by China.

“I think the World Health Organization is fairly compromised by China and has been from the start,” she told Sky News.

“At the beginning of the pandemic they were downplaying it and in fact even said there was no person to person transmission when obviously it was running rampant in Wuhan.
“They are deeply embedded with the Chinese Communist party and it’s very difficult to see that anything truthful will come out of this, but you live in hope”.

Yes,  this is nothing new.   Good analysis.  It's a party where core values and lust for power duel, and lust for power usually wins.   And is fueled by conspiracy theories.   I can remember grandparents talking about the FDR conspiracy theories.  And xenophobic ideas have always played a central role -- when people fear change,  instead of working to allay fear and help people open up to new ideas and diverse peoples, you can just go with the fear and give that fear a specific tangible focus:  one group of badasses,  marching in to destroy the American way of life.   Authoritarian always becomes more palatable when it's protecting you from the boogeymen.

Bambi, I’m glad you found someone to fill that Megan Kelly sized hole in your heart. Your attention to neither does much to improve the quality of your conversation.

Nice summation of the democrat gameplan.
Especially the focus on the FDR xenophobic ideas.
