Jewel Jones seems to be managing his college career just fine, while a legislator.

At least 7 states currently have legislators who had not finished a bachelor's degree prior to their election.

And 22 Members of the US House of Representatives have no educational degree beyond a high school diploma or GED, while 5 Members of the House have associate’s degrees as their highest degrees.

IOW, they tried getting elected without one and succeeded.
