Maybe when women are put out of qualifying for state and national teams and the Olympic teams by trans athletes they might sit up and take notice then.
Anyway, women make up their own minds.

Let me know when that happens, Bambu.

Almost 70% of women define a transwoman as a woman.

Ah, I see Josh has dealt with pipelines before I posted my reply.

About a decade a go I did a little research into pipeline leaks and I was amazed at the frequency and size of the leaks.  One leak per day is kind of crazy.  They've gotten better at detecting leaks and being able to shut off flow remotely.  Though it's still not great.  But hey might need to come up with new ways of building pipelines that are more environmentally sound, such as when double hulls became a requirement on oil tankers.  Don't know if you can/should double contain a pipeline, or use different material or what.  But every pipeline of significant length that exists can be expected to leak.  Just look at the existing Keystone pipeline's track record.

North Korea slams Australia's human rights record - but they aren't alone
In a video posted by UN-monitoring non-government organisation UN Watch, North Korea ambassador Han Tae-Song told the UN Human Rights Council the isolated dictatorship held deep concerns about Australia's conduct.

The comments came during a review into Australia's human rights record.
Mr Han outlined the actions he said Australia should take.

"First, to end deep-rooted racism, racial discrimination, and xenophobia on the basis of ethnic, racial, cultural or religious background in the public sphere," he said.
"Second, to cease cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment in public places of detention.

#####

LOL

Maybe he means the discrimination against White males.

Yes, it's so terrible that 'half' the world is lining up to migrate here.....any way they can.
The gravy train is loaded with many goodies...free housing, welfare cash for life, free healthcare...hallelujah!

What detention? Those still held in so called detention on Nauru, if there are any left after most of them went to America in that Obama/Trump swap deal...are free to wander the island swimming, shopping, doing all the things the locals do, only returning to the open gates 'detention centre' to eat and sleep.

People are eating grass in North Korea.

A woman indeed, with special powers.

A whopping 6 minutes and I likely posted while you were working on your post.

Yours is definitely the tl/dr version of mine. I don't think either of them has a chance of convince Luee, who has almost never shown us the ability to change his mind about anything.

I have not responded directly to one of Ward's posts in weeks and see no reason to change that. Sometimes I will respond to somebody else's response.

Bambu is about to join Ward - hard as it is to believe, Bambu contributes less to our conversations than Ward does, if only because ESPN3 is around to opine only sometimes absurdly on sports.

If only Kid would follow Ward's lead!

And hey, they could all ignore me, too, so long as they unblock my ability to send them messages. (Hint!)

However, as outraged as some reactions were to Mr Han's statement - including Liberal MP Dave Sharma joking that it must be "an attempt at irony" - in this case, the hermit nation was not alone.

Canada, China, Germany, Italy, France and Belarus were among dozens of UN countries that also condemned aspects of Australia's human rights record, with many calling for the national age of criminal responsibility to be lifted from 10 to 14.

Australia has also faced UN criticism over the treatment of Indigenous Australians, and of refugees.

#####

What refugees?
The ones who've been settled from UN camps every year, free housing, free welfare cash for life, hundreds of dollars per FN, free healthcare, etc?
Or the asylum-seekers arriving on people-smuggling boats who were sent back to Indonesia in special boats?

How did/does Canada treat its First Peoples?

China?
LOL

France?
Should know better.

Italy?
LOL
It's banned the construction of any new mosques.
And issued that decree from the Vatican/Pope..."If isn't Roman Catholic then it's not a proper church".  The word 'defective' was used.
Last time I looked Italy was trying to repel refugees/asylum seekers as fast as they could...or let them in and move them on.
Wonder who the dozens of other countries are that are condemning Australia.

Yes, it's so terrible that 'half' the world is lining up to migrate here.....any way they can.

Having folks from China and India lined up to move there doesn't mean you don't have a major racism problem, same as you have a domestic violence problem.

The US has racism problem, too, but it doesn't seem to stop folks from wanting to move here.

OTOH, you might want to consider Luee's view but as applies to your country.

For 15 years now, you have had more population growth from immigrants than from residents' births. And while your birth numbers have climbed in that same period from where it was before 2006, that's arising from your immigrant population, too!

The idiot just hands his gun to a coworker.  Jeez.
AOC is exactly right here.
But my takeaway is that some (almost certainly GOP) representatives have very likely already brought guns into the House chamber in violation of rules and sanity.
And it just went undetected before.

Boebert is trying to push the issue and expand gun nuttery on Capitol Hill.  She's also being investigated for her video about her 1st day in Congress entitled Bringing my Glock to the Capitol.  In which she was filmed with her weapon strapped to her thigh walking on the streets of Wash DC which happens to be illegal.  She's a small business owner, with her restaurant renowned for the waitresses all packing heat in holsters.  Gee, what could go wrong?  (I assume alcohol is sold there too).

Walk thru Sydney CBD and suburbs any day and you could be forgiven for thinking you were in Shanghai or Mumbai.

You are the poster child for clueless white men.

But that's it, Bambu.

I don't expect facts to change your mind - it has happened twice since I have known you and in the second case, your shift was from one untenable position to another. ("There is no climate change" to "There is always climate change, it cannot possibly be significantly impacted by humans, and there is nothing we can do to mitigate it or its effects.")

Let me know if you ever buy a clue.
