My gum!

After we’ve convicted and sanctioned Trump (and his whole piss-legged cabal), we’ll have to see what insurrection statutes exist within the state of Wisconsin.

Did somebody invade the Wisconsin Capitol Building with weapons and an intention to capture and potentially assassinate Wisconsin legislators?

When did that happen?!

LoL --- Wisconsin protests were largely peaceful sit-ins and mounting posters on the walls.

By February 20, protestors had undertaken a physical occupation of the Capitol building, establishing a fully functioning community within the public spaces of the Wisconsin State Capitol, including an information center, a sleeping area, a medic station staffed by members of the Madison Community Wellness Collective, and food stations with food for protestors supplied by local businesses. Protestors also covered the walls of the Capitol with thousands of homemade signs....

This is recapitulating my comments about the 100,000,000 vaccinations in 100 day pledge by Biden, to which I said I suspected it was an intentional understatement, to avoid the excessive promises of Trump.

The assault on the Wisconsin  Capitol lasted 3weeks.
Ten years ago, unionists stormed the Wisconsin State Capitol, located in Madison. They wanted to stop a vote on collective bargaining reform. Thousands of demonstrators poured in by breaking down doors and crawling in through windows.

They were looking for Republican lawmakers. Many of the Republicans were guided by police into a tunnel which would safely move them across the street. A Democratic lawmaker alerted the mob and they met the Republicans and the police as they came through the tunnel.

Then Gov. Scott Walker received death threats and he said they promised they would “gut [his wife] like a deer.” Police found .22 caliber bullets all around the capital including chalk outlines of fake dead bodies etched with Walker’s name. Signs like “Death to tyrants" and "the only good Republican is a dead Republican” were everywhere.

Nancy Pelosi praised the occupiers for an “impressive show of democracy in action” and tweeted she stands in solidarity with the mob. Another mantra from the “protesters” was, “Don’t retreat, reload.”

Wasn’t that the Jan 6th no mask crowd a few months back in Michigan?

I’m pretty sure the republican talking point red coughed up for our inspection has it’s history badly skewed.

Facts kill conservative talking points 99.9% of the time, the conservative insurrections were both jinned up with slew of lies while the action in Wisconsin was in response to a direct assault on those workers rights that was so real it was carried out despite the protests, the upshot of which is that it will be a long time till republicans ever put a governor in the Wisconsin state house again.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

* Wisconsin's Act 10 protests were overwhelmingly peaceful.

There were some tense moments — including one in which then-state Sen. Glenn Grothman, a Republican, was heckled and surrounded by protesters until then-Democratic state Rep. Brett Hulsey stepped in to diffuse the situation.

Grothman, now a U.S. representative, was in his D.C. office when rioters broke into the U.S. Capitol.

"Obviously there were some of the more outright violent people here," Grothman said Friday. "It never reached that pitch (during Act 10)."

* The full extent of damage to the U.S. Capitol is not yet known, but it appears from photographs that the historic building sustained millions of dollars in damage. Windows were smashed, doors were damaged and historic works of art were vandalized.

For example, a 19th-century marble bust of former President Zachary Taylor was smeared with what appeared to be blood, The New York Times reported.

While there was some damage done to the state Capitol in 2011 during the weeks of protests — which included some people sleeping in the statehouse rotunda and halls — there were no reports of looting, ransacking or thefts.

That guy is going to be quite the prize in prison. Many of his supporters and new friends might have to join him when all is said and done. Tragic failure of American Education, that one.

There has been some progress on taking government back from scummy suckers. More progress to come.

The writer is not a journalist.  It's a letter.   The breaking down doors alleged is not supported by any fact.   No one was attacked.   No one died.   As for stopping the vote,  that was in fact Democratic lawmakers who were leaving the state to delay the vote until elements of the bill could be negotiated.

Facts are your friends.

Meanwhile, in Detroit July 2019....
Corey Williams, Associated press:

"Detroit event initially charged white people more for tickets than black people.
Organisers  said they set different prices so people of color in Detroit had equal opportunity to enjoy events 'in their own community'.
A global ticketing and event platform has told a group that it could not charge whites more than blacks and other people of color to attend a Detroit event advertised on the firm's website.
POC...People of Color..$10
NONPOC...$20
NONPOC is referred to as 'white people' on the ..... page"

All shown by Sydney Watson on YouTube video
