Uno,  I think Larry's rejoinder is a general response to your unfortunate comment a few days ago regarding his recent loss.   As Ahnuld says in "Total Recall, "  consider that a divorce.

Try to bear in mind that,  though Josh deleted it,  it wasn't deleted from some members minds.

That would be "members' minds", for those of you keeping score.

Well, here's the thing, OC.

Larry gets a different set of rules to play by than the rest of us. It's just the way it is. And we know why.

But he's been guilty of tremendously reprehensible commentary as anyone here ever has.

And I've made it clear through the years that I will not be cowled by his BS the way many of you are.

So, carry on, OC. You can bear whatever you want in your mind. You can even attempt to speak for members' minds.

I'll continue to speak my mind.

Larry has no more meaningful existence than anyone else here.

If he wants to just keep firing away with his "fuck offs" willy-nilly, he is free to do so.

As I am free to continue to expose his abject idiocy and blatant hypocrisy.

And FTR, you will never hear from Larry about the carefully written email I sent to him regarding his loss, immediately after learning of it, and prior to his BS that led to your unfortunate misreading of what  I said publicly here.

Good day.

No.

Your bullshit and your inability to acknowledge your bullshit are a problem, Ham.

Larry has no different set of rules.

There is one set of guidelines and you are the only current poster who has trouble with them on any kind of regular basis.

Personal attacks that deal with reality off the message board are a regular feature of yours and nobody else's.

Stop.

Those are not government actions.  Those are expressions of first amendment rights.  Barton is right.  We have more freedom of expression.
You must not live in America.

Red likes the Blue State money that his state takes from the people who work.

You only think you do. You hate America.

Sing with me, Larry!
Psalm 5:5
"The boastful cannot stand in Your presence; You hate all workers of iniquity."

After you finish kissing my ass you can go,fuck yourself.

The perfect rejoinder for a song praising the Lord. Maybe look up the Psalm, Larry. It wasn't directed TO you. It was supporting your observation regarding Red.

After you get further education, you can perhaps keep up with me.

Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.

I don’t give a fuck if you were reciting A Psalm of Life or the Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock. Anytime you address me the rejoinder will be profane with metaphorical footprints shoving a peach pit up your nose.

We have nothing to talk about and nothing to discuss and if you don’t understand that then fuck you again.

I hope they keep the filibuster.  Other factors aside, a congress passes stronger and more lasting legislation when bills aren't passed 51-50.  Without the filly, it's easy to envision decades where each term bills are passed, and then undone in the following term, or the next term the opposition snags the majority.

Really a great argument for continuing to pound the republican party to dust. They should always have less control of any aspect of government than they do now.

"The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" kicked my ass.  But not as badly "The Waste Land" and "The Hollow Men" did.  And while Eliot was likely an anti-Semite, he was not nearly as as much of one as was Ezra Pound.

And I'll end this post with not a bang, but a whimper.

Datta, dayadhvam damyata.

Pound was an insane fascist in the literal sense of both words, but he also gave us Hugh Selwyn Mayberry and the last 40 or so lines of Canto LXXXI. What though lovest well remains, the rest is dross...

https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/27/world/un-climate-poll-global-emergency-intl/index.html

Lovely.
Wonder if anyone asked them about giving up their overseas holidays, cell phones, tvs in every room, aircon, electric lights, large SUVs etc to overcome the emergency....planes trains and cruise ships to save the planet...now?
Mrs bambu asked schoolgirls in a mall who were protesting "climate change" that very question.
She asked them did they know what percentage of the atmosphere is CO2, what percent of that is man-made, and what percent of that is Australia's.
They had no idea, obviously didn't listen to no1 radio host.
So she told them, and suggested that if they wanted to make a difference, that instead ot attacking Australia they should be criticising the big polluters like India and China.
They said to her:
"You're just old and racist"!   lol

When she returned home and told me I said to her:
"Well what did you expect, they've been whipped up into a frenzy about it by the "usual suspects" ...'everywhere' they
 go."
"You're wasting your time even talking to them."
"Save your energy for the ballot box on election day."
