Some thoughts as some stores such as Ralph's and Food 4 Less are closing stores to avoid paying workers the hero wages for working during an epidemic.
There are some great stores that can step in to replace any store that closes. If Ralph's and Food 4 Less close in Long Beach, then those stores can quickly be replaced by Northgate Markets, Vallarta Markets, Stater Brothers Markets, etc, there are many great stores which operate here in Southern California which can rise up to quickly replace any store that closes.
We need to make sure that Stater Brothers, Northgate, and Vallarta, markets are all able to get money to expand and grow quickly if they are needed to replace any store that is closing. We need for our neighborhoods to be able to get redevelopment money and we need for the markets to be able to get the money to open new locations in Long Beach, etc.
