Montana Expands Gun Nuttery

A bill signed into law Thursday by Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte allows concealed firearms to be carried in most places in the state without a permit, and it expands the list of places where guns can be carried to include university campuses and the state Capitol.

The law allows concealed firearms to be carried without a permit inside bars and banks. Private property owners and tenants are allowed to ban firearms on their premises.

It also allows permit holders to carry concealed firearms inside state and local government buildings, including the Capitol. Current rules ban all firearms inside the Capitol and other state government buildings.

Schools, government building and bars -- all good places for folks to have loaded weapons at the ready.

Isn't there any effective Dem push-back on this dangerous nonsense?

Sure he was asked a direct question, but how hard is it to say that we don't know yet even what the 2nd half of 2021 will look like, will have to see what course the virus takes and how well vaccination works, etc.  Then pivot into positives about vaccination progress and herd immunity likelihood and hopefully returning to normal soonish. 

Why be negative and worry people about complete unknowns a year out?    He was awful and dishonest under Trump, he's 80, he's promoting dumb negative ideas.  Retire this guy.   Fauci should stick to actual science based arguments instead of speculation and guesswork.

It's insanely popular.  Democrats need to figure out the right messaging and get it out there.  If the dems figured out a way to bring gun owners into their fold that would be a smart bit of alchemy.   They could market to a particular user type like the single mom who keeps a firearm for protection.   Keep the messaging focused on what responsible gun ownership looks like.  The dems will never attract the gun nuts and militia men but they could capture a segment that they might otherwise be giving away to Republicans.

$5 per gallon  91 octane unleaded. lowest grade.
$6 per gallon  98 octane unleaded highest grade.
There's 95 octane unleaded...for about $5.60 per gallon...if you can find any gas station that hasn't "run out", a sign on the pump...lol
I always buy 98 octane, my Corolla seems to run better on it, have more power and pull better at low speeds.
