government.
The Monarch a level of protection for the People above the politicians, who all must swear allegiance to Australia and the Monarch.
Hopefully the Monarchy will survive, while the Queen lives, and after she's gone.
Looks like we Monarchists are in for a fight...the Left seemingly can't wait for her demise so it can push for a referendum to become a republic.
I love my state Governor's (Queen's representative) castle home on the hill overlooking Sydney harbour.
The Queen has reigned since I was 7, I know nothing else.
The left could try to bring her down now, and my no1 radio host is not on radio anymore.
Luckily he's still on tv.
The Royal Family isn't perfect, but the institution is.
Australia has its own national anthem...and also has its
"Royal Anthem"..."God Save the Queen".

They complain that security was withdrawn.
They left the family and went to America...no more Royal security, not sorry...pay for it yourselves.
They have to now provide their own security.
America loves them...America can have them.
It's like they burnt the Palace down on the way out.
Hope they're not reading the British papers.
