<i>The skin colour of Meghan Markle's mother, Meghan Markle's father, and Meghan Markle...has been a topic of conversation 'worldwide' since she first appeared on the 'royal' scene.</i>

People, "worldwide", don't have anything better to talk about?

To be fair, that was a WTF moment in the interview.

I'm guessing when the royals are sitting around the table ready to dig in to their Christmas dinner the Queen may think twice before she asks, "so who wants the dark meat?

Or not.

I could so see Michael Che do that on SNL.

The pattern continues. Larry says nothing.

https://news.yahoo.com/korean-beauty-store-owner-beaten-180954225.html

It's pretty clear who is going after Asians, in almost every incidence reported in the last few months. And they don't look like Trump supporters.

I responded to you before about this issue and I reminded you what happened to Vincent Chin and why back in 1984.

Same bullshit that's happening now.

Fear and loathing against Asian Americans stoked by the right.

China Virus
Kung Flu
Wuhan Flu

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2021/03/04/covid-racism-asian-americans-trump-provocations-column/6904348002/

Go jerk off over something else.

That's room 12B.

That article makes the point that I tried to make earlier here,  which is that the current hate crimes are a different thing from  the gang activity in past years or robberies of salons and liquor stores.

Last month as we all know was African American History month,

According to Diversity Central.com

http://diversitycentral.com/calendar/heritagemonthguide.php

March has two (really three) designations

a) national women's month
b) Irish-American heritage month
c) national deaf history month for the back eend of the month

so if you're an Irish-American deaf woman you hit the trifecta

The year is celebrated in diversity as follows

Month
Heritage Celebrated

January None to date

February African American History Month

March National National Women’s History Month, Irish-American Heritage Month

April March 13 to April 15 is National Deaf History Month

May Asian Pacific American Heritage, Older Americans Month and Jewish American Heritage Month

June Gay Lesbian Pride Month

July None to date

August None to date

September National Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15)

October National Disability Employment Awareness Month and National Italian American Heritage Month

November National American Indian Heritage Month

December None to date; are two international commemorations

There are several avaialble months open to worthy but over-looked ethnic groups, races, or broadly identified groups etc.

this is clearly a topic worthy of discussion and couldn't possible lead to any disagreements over entitledments, insults or slurs!

I think Q-followers or Trump supporters deserve at least a week, maybe two (kid-any thoughts) maybe the Lesbians and Gays can share June and we can rename celebrate June as LGBTQ

just a thought

Another great Biden post

I'm glad you liked it.

Kid this is the de facto political forum-so i had some topical fun with diversity and inclusion.

So what do you think of my LGBTQ inclusion proposal?

It's possible that if I had married a woman of color,  and my relatives had taken up the topic of how dark-skinned our child would be,  or how dark-skinned my partner was,  I might have considered putting a continent or two between us.

To have some understanding of how Megan and Harry feel,  it's a useful exercise to imagine yourself and a spouse on the receiving end of skin tone speculation.  They may be royals but they are human beings first.   And there is something about the Brit royal family, and the obsession they seem to arouse in people who,  say,  post a dozen times a day about them,  that makes me want to go and relieve myself on the crown jewels.

The problem is we don't have a dedicated Lindsay Graham forum.

But I'm reasonably sure I'm at least 50% correct and with a decent chance at 100%

Did you hear that shit he was talking a couple of days ago? As long as Trump can win a few seats, and protects the Q-conspiracy nuts, good ole boy Lindsay seems indifferent if Trump blows up the GQP. Lindsay really doesn't want to have to work a real job.

In any case, thanks for the feedback.

GA Republicans repealing voting laws they themselves championed by black folks organized and maxed the system.

While People are getting the vaccine and living through an economy accelerating at the twice the speed as previously expected the GOP is yapping about Cancel Culture and trans people playing sports.

Yeah. Its gonna follow the usual historic trend of midterms.

Princess Diana was going to marry Dodi Fayad, and she was going to move to Malibu and she was buying a house next door to Olivia Newton John. I lived in Malibu at the time, and the people of Malibu were looking forward to having Diana as a neighbor. Everyone in Malibu was crushed when Princess Diana died.

Then too, there was the issue of Princess Diana marrying an Egyptian. It was a bit of a scandal.

KTLA 5 News

18 hours ·

California would take a step toward having counselors instead of police respond to people experiencing mental health crises under a bill backed by gun-violence prevention groups.

https://ktla.com/news/california/california-bill-seeks-to-create-hotline-that-would-have-counselors-rather-than-police-respond-to-mental-health-calls/

-----------

I have a friend who is a Crisis Intervention Specialist, she went to college and trained, it is a good job and she has a nice house on the beach. It is a good job, but it is a hard job, and the people have to be well trained.

Also of note, the Crisis Intervention Specialists need to remember to carry a pack of cigarettes with them, you can deescalate a situation quickly by offering the mentally ill person a cigarette, and you can talk peacefully with the person while they smoke. A lot of mentally ill people smoke cigarettes. There also needs to be smoking sections at the Wellness Centers and at the homeless shelters. The Wellness Centers and homeless shelters also need to have free coffee available for people, it helps.

Salute,

Tony V.

Biden focused on the 2 real issues he had to, Covid-relief and economic relief. with a side of bacon. And most everybody likes bacon.

the goal was to get America healthy and working again back to schools, and happy going into the '22 elections.

I'm glad you're happy Larry.

so am I.
