The Georgia Constitution says legislators are “free from arrest during sessions of the General Assembly” except for charges of treason, felonies or breach of the peace.

AFAICT, at this point, the only disturbance of the peace was the direct result of rude and confrontational behavior by bad cops who seemed unable to recognize that the woman was a member of the legislature.  Classic bad cop move:  act inappropriately and in a way that provokes a citizen, then blame the citizen for disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, etc.

It's not like the door was right behind the governor and opening it would foul up a televised moment.  No reason a person couldn't quietly enter from the back of the room and take a seat.  Heck, I've even seen this happen on televised political events when a camera is panning away from a speaker and toward the seats.

Los Angeles needs to have HOSTELS like in Rome, Italy, where people can take a nice hot shower, and where people can sleep in a nice comfortable bed, for $15 per night.

The cities can buy vouchers from the HOSTELS to give to the homeless people to get them off of the streets.

This whole situation can be turned over to the private business people who can own and run the HOSTELS, just like in Italy.

Also, business people can have computer cafes, and laundromats, and donut shops, and 7-Elevens and stuff by the HOSTELS, and book shops, etc.

The business people will help the homeless if they can make money doing it.

Also, there needs to be WELLNESS CENTERS like in Orange.
