Paraphrasing this lawsuit against Rep Lofgren from another US House member:
"How dare you publish exactly what we said and then suggest it was inappropriate?!"

This summarizes well my feelings about the Montana and South Carolina moves, among other things. (And don't get me started on Florida's new law that states that businesses cannot ask customers what their vaccination status is. Say goodbye to the FL cruise line business for the time being.)

These whiny, "Nobody wants to work!" signs on every restaurant door and cash register showcase four important features of the bourgeoisie:
1. Their love of the free market vanishes as soon as basic market forces like supply and demand tip to benefit workers, even briefly. "Competition breeds innovation," until they have to offer competitive wages.
2. When the going gets tough, they roll up their sleeves and blame somebody else for their failure. Then they hop on facebook to complain about nobody taking personal responsibility anymore.
3. Despite self-mythologizing constantly, they have no work ethic at all. They'd rather close the doors than flip the burgers themselves.
4. They aren't even competent at MS Word. Listen: If you print outward-facing signage in 14-point Times New Roman on plain printer paper and hang it up lopsided on one piece of scotch tape, you better pray Atlas don't Shrug. You won't make it.

This is bullshit:

Children as young as the third grade are indoctrinated with critical race theory (CRT), which claims a person's skin color will determine his/her future. CRT designates all white people as oppressors who "hold power and stay in power," while holding that all people of color are oppressed.

Just more white wing racist bullshit from the The Federalist.

Figures you’d slurp this up as gospel.

”CRT is not a diversity and inclusion “training” but a practice of integrating race and racism in society that emerged in the legal academy and spread to other fields of scholarship. [Kimberlee] Crenshaw—who coined the term “CRT”—notes that CRT is not a noun, but a verb. It cannot be confined to a static and narrow definition but is considered to be an evolving and malleable practice. It critiques how the social construction of race and institutionalized racism perpetuate a racial caste system that relegates people of color to the bottom tiers. CRT also recognizes that race intersects with other identities, including sexuality, gender identity, and others. CRT recognizes that racism is not a bygone relic of the past. Instead, it acknowledges that the legacy of slavery, segregation, and the imposition of second-class citizenship on Black Americans and other people of color continue to permeate the social fabric of this nation.”

Piggy took the slops and wolfed them down. Not hard to please piggy’s appetite. Just defend racism with a few heavy pinches of whataboutism and he’s ready to bury his face in whatever bullshit you happen to be serving up.

Thanks for proving the writer's point.

Thanks for proving Fac's point.

And you have proven to be far more intolerant than most of the people you label that way: rigid, self-righteous, and deeply in denial of your own fallibility.

His pseudo-apology didn't fly.

Bamboozled, indeed.  The bamboo hunt is part of why the microscopes, mentioned here yesterday in a piece linked by me, I think.

Starting to wonder if those plastic nanoparticles in food/water, and PM 2.5 stuff in the air, are starting to lower the national IQ.  But then I think:  nah, ideologies have always had the power to render people blind, deaf, and stupid.
