I’ve reached the sad conclusion that you’ve not a very good teacher.
You need to study more.

You’ll learn why Red sports the words, “kick me” across the back of his soup stained faded cardigan.

---The US-designated terrorist organization Hamas thanked Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for supporting the “just rights of the Palestinian people.” Last week, Omar grouped the US and Israel together with the Taliban and Hamas, asserting that all sides have committed “unthinkable atrocities.”

Hamas – whose charter calls for the murder of Jews worldwide – said it “highly appreciates” Omar’s stances, but at the same time called its comparison to the Jewish state “unfair.”---

What she meant to say is Hamas is the same as the US but better and the US does not respect Muslims or women of color like they do in Somalia.

I’m glad she confided that to you, Luee, and that you thought fit to share it with us. She must be one of the most tolerant people in the world. Far more tolerant than I would be or can see that she would have any reason to be to be so forthcoming.

Any further insights?

Freedom loving socialist willing to support Democrats, even the ones who aren’t socialist, against the committed forces of the evil opponents arrayed against them.

Okay, Che.

That would make you Batista...

Sure, Idi.

Red is like Drumpf. He has never understood that the refusal to admit error, even minor obvious error like typing principal instead of principle does not make you look tough or strong. It makes you look fearful and weak. And oh so very very stupid.

I don't think it makes him look fearful or weak.

Just stupid and inane.

McConnell looks fearful, but not nearly weak enough. I'm pleasantly surprised by Thune's words.

But the notion that the Senate would not look into this is antithetical to almost everything the GOP has pushed for in oversight when they have been in charge (and there were non-Republicans to be investigated).

I can't create a poll but am curious about the general political profile of those 12 or so people posting in Elba

and how you would ID yourself by party affiliation and ideology

So if you could, if comfortable, please ID yourself as one of the following

Dems or Repub

A-very conservative

B-conservative

C-moderate

D-Liberal

E-very liberal/progressive

For example I would self-ID as Dem-Liberal

and Utley you and the gang only get 1 ID

Independent. Moderate.  And apparently the only one with the stones to answer your question. The rest are too busy playing not making mistakes.

Replied to this last evening,  Geologist.

Replied to this last evening,  Geologist.

I don't give a schist what the geologist thinks about my stones. He does not rock my world and his grasp of how others think is sedimentary at best.

I've also set forth my political party and ideology on multiple occasions. His fault if he has not been paying attention.

But here, let me say it for the amusement of all: I lean to the right politically.

(snicker)

Thune does surprise me now and then,  with his shows of integrity.   As my senator, he's a pleasant contrast with Trump lapdog Noem.

Her husband-brother from another mother explained it to me. Just thought it was an interesting topic to be brought up for analysis and debate.

---As Democrats are trying to quell internal tensions over remarks Rep. Ilhan Omar made last week apparently comparing the U.S. and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban, Republicans are re-upping their push to condemn Omar and her allies over comments about Israel.---
