Red is quickly moving from an object of scorn to an object of pity.
LOL!
Begin, Mandela, and Arafat as terrorists.
Why not throw in,
say, Nathan Hale as well.?

Begin was a terrorist, Ward, whether you like it or not.

Bombing a hotel is not exactly the action of a peacenik.

Nathan Hale predated the Nobel Peace Prize.

Harkening back to Israel and Begin, "terrorist (n.) in the modern sense, 1944, especially in reference to Jewish tactics against the British in Palestine..." from etymonline (dot) com.

As for Nathan Hale, perhaps instead the French Revolution would be acceptable to you, as that was when the term was first applied. It's also been applied to the Maquis in WWII.

You really struggle with facts that don't fit your worldview. That must be very hard for you.

Begin was a terrorist. Arafat was a terrorist. They both won the Nobel Peace Price.

You probably don't have to go back that far to play "the one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" song.

freedom fighter:
: a person who takes part in a resistance movement against an oppressive political or social establishment

terrorist
person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

The terms are not interchangeable.
Nelson Mandela can never be equated to Osama Bin Laden.
Never? Someone did. Why do you think they put him in prison?

Huh? He was originally acquitted for his part avenging mass murder of blacks and only after years of revenge tactics by a white supremacist Government was he put in prison for life.
He was a freedom fighter. But never a terrorist.
He was thrown into jail by the South African government for conspiracy to overthrow the government through the SACP and another group the South African government regarded as being dedicated to the violent overthrow of the government.  The South African government viewed Mandela as a terrorist and rebel, even as the ever-enlightened Red did not.  Which is the point of the "one man's terrorist...." cliche I cited.  Another example, I guess, was  Menachem Begin.
Critical thinking escapes you.
But it is enlightening to know that if a black man fights back against white supremacism ( while avoiding attacking innocent civilians) it’s your definition of terrorism.
If Nelson Mandela is to labeled a terrorist by you there are a ton of historians who beg to differ.
Have you always been illiterate, Red?

Both Mandela and Begin won Nobel Peace Prizes.
Can you name a terrorist who has?
Arafat.
Better do a better look unto history than a quick google search.
Better not ask a question that's essentially a kick me hard sign pinned to your own ass.
World History not your bag, we get it.

You’re floundering without a script to follow.

Stand down until the next email blast comes through.

As a freedom loving socialist, I’m quickly developing an appreciation for Senator Joe Manchin.

http://m.dailykos.com/stories/2021/6/16/2035633/-Leaked-Audio-of-Joe-Manchin-talking-to-Dark-Money-in-private-is-different-from-Joe-Manchin-in-Public

The Great & Mighty Joes are charting a path entirely carved of common sense, cured in fiscal discipline, suffused with market forces, irrefutable logic, facts, and grace, attuned to justice, measured, just to the right of center, big enough, broad enough, and bold enough to do a solid job addressing the most critical issues we all face.

41 member affirmative filibuster puts the onus on the dozen or so most vulnerable R’s who I think we can tear off and keep in America when we finally hack off the gangrenous GOP, burning all trumps and dominionists to cauterize the wound, as is only medically sound.

Joe quickly apologized for snapping at a female leftist reporter and Voila!
The media genuflected and praised him for standing up to Putin!

The vast majority of states recognize Juneteenth as a holiday or have an official observance of the day, and most states hold celebrations. Juneteenth is a paid holiday for state employees in Texas, New York, Virginia and Washington....

Celebrating emancipation is divisive,  opines the Montana congressman.  I would hazard a guess that polling on "slavery was bad" would hit the mid-90s.  Also rather amusing that anyone would equate emancipation with "identity politics."   The congressman might be rather disturbed to read our Constitution and find amendments and landmark interpretations crafted to advance the liberties of particular segments of the citizenry.
Identity politics is any politics that white people don't identify with.

The Koch brothers’ network of donor class organizations is lobbying Congress to “immediately prioritize” amnesty for millions of illegal aliens enrolled and eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

In a statement marking the anniversary of former President Barack Obama’s DACA program — allowing hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens to remain in the United States — the Kochs’ Libre Initiative released a statement asking lawmakers to immediately pass an amnesty.

“The time for Congress to act is now, full stop,” the statement reads:

And the only way to ensure that another ten years don’t pass us by without action on this critical  issue is for lawmakers to work together on a permanent legislative solution for Dreamers.  Policymakers should not look to the Courts or to the executive branch for relief, but should instead immediately prioritize this issue that has broad bipartisan support from the American people.
[Emphasis added]

In May, the Koch network joined former President George W. Bush’s coalition to lobby lawmakers to pass amnesty for illegal aliens along with other corporate interests like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Business Roundtable, the Bloomberg-funded New American Economy, the Texas Association of Business, and taxpayer-funded refugee contractors.

The amnesty plan touted by the Koch network aligns the organization with President Joe Biden’s priorities on immigration.

While Red is having a problem with Pres Biden's tougher approach than Trump's slavish puppy dog obedience to the Russian authoritarian, he seems to have finally realized Biden is President, and accurately characterized Trump's 4-year reign of incompetence and corruption. And the trash was removed.

Took YOU long enough to get around to your talking points:

So Sleepy Joe woke up after his Mano a Mano with Putin and took offense at a reporter’s question.
It did not sit well with the fourth estate :

"If you’re the most powerful person in the world and you can’t field questions from the media without losing your temper, maybe you’re in the wrong business," New York Magazine's Olivia Nuzzi tweeted afterward.

Gee. The initial question came from a female reporter and the tweet from a leftist media  known as a lap dog for the dems.

Shame on you, Joe.
LOL!

”U.S. President Donald Trump said that President Vladimir Putin "was extremely strong and powerful in his denial" that Russia was involved in hacking aimed at influencing the 2016 U.S. election. Speaking at a joint news conference in Helsinki on July 16, Putin said that "no one can be trusted" but that the leaders needed to find common points of interest. The meeting came days after a U.S. special prosecutor indicted 12 Russian agents in connection with the theft of Democratic Party documents ahead of the U.S. election”.

How’s that Post-Soviet boot taste?

Meanwhile he came out and apologized to Kaitlin Collins.
